The first-ever 1/2 published by Crusade, this comic book the prequel to Victoria Cross - The Spanish Earth, and takes place in 1937 as Spain suffers through a brutal civil war. The armies of Nazi Germany and Mussolini¹s Italy wage total war against Soviet Russia and the Spanish people.

Pilot Officer Victoria Cross of the Royal Air Force is sent to Spain to steal the Luftwaffe¹s newest weapon of mass destruction - The Messerschmitt Bf109 fighter. Victoria must then fly the fighter through enemy fire to Gibraltar, where the massive British fleet will whisk the 109 and Victoria back to the safety of jolly old England.

But soon Victoria learns of the Nazi¹s sinister plan to sink the British fleet and invade Gibraltar. She knows that whomever controls Gibraltar controls the Mediterranean.

Without its Navy, Britain will be defenseless and the armies of fascism will have free reign to march across Europe, destroying any hope for freedom and issuing a new Dark Age.

As Spain burns, Victoria must use her wits and the stolen fighter to save Gibraltar, Great Britain and the world.
