All-new website for Crusade, Billy Tucci and Shi

www.CrusadeFineArts.com the all-new, official website for award winning self-publisher/filmmaker Billy Tucci and his acclaimed comic book property, Shi, has been activated.

Designed by veteran web pioneers MaidaNet (StrangersInParadise.com, JuddWinick.com, GregRucka.com) the multi-layered website will afford browsers everything from regular up to date news items, previews of yet to be published artwork and a complete library and store of all Crusade products past and present.

One of the most popular personalities in comics, Tucci is best known as the creators/writer/artists of the indy blockbuster Shi. Through Tucci's self-published Crusade Fine Arts, Ltd., Shi is printed in six languages, has sold over 4 million comic books and grossed 25 million dollars worldwide. Additionally he has created properties for comics and film such as Victoria Cross, Deossa, The Undaunted, Atomik ANGELS and The Burning Blue. Issue #3 of Tucci's newest monthly Shi series The Illustrated Warrior is in stores Wednesday October 9th.

Also included in the site is a section dedicated to independent and mainstream filmmaking. Some Trouble of a SeRRious Nature marked Tucci's motion picture debut as Writer, Director and Producer, and premiered at the 2002 Long Island International Film Expo, where it was awarded Best Short Film (Video). Based on the infamous hoax letter written to Vought Aviation in 1947, Some Trouble of a SeRRious Nature hysterically chronicles the Second World War's final days, an unfortunate F4U Corsair fighter plane and the Arkansas hillbillies who are determined to fly it.

Mimi Polk Gitlin's Mandolin Entertainment (Trapped) recently optioned the film rights for Shi - The Motion Picture, with Tucci and Kevin Bernhardt (Art of War) set to write the screenplay.
