The previews look good.  I hope J. Alba has a lot of air-time.

Just saw the movie today.  I thought the effects did a good job of making their powers believable.  DR DOOM did not fit with the story line in the comics.  Johnny Storm and Ben Grimm were the hits in the movie.  Those 2 actors stole every scene they were in.

One item that is too politically correct for me was changing Ben's girlfriend to be black.   What next - a white Luke Cage Power Man or Black Panther or Storm?  How about a red-haired Irishman playing Shang Chi, Master of Kung Fu.  Don't get me wrong, she was very beautiful, but it seemed to be a contrivance that was not necessary.  This is what happens when producers change stories to make them more digestable for the viewing audience.

The Fantastic 4 well lets just say!!
"Fantastic" and 4 Stars!! ;D
I really liked the movie I mean I enjoyed every moment of it. I know they had to change Dr. Doom's origin a bit but if it stuck with the comic continuity it woulda lasted 3 hours.  And Snider i can agree with the Alicia Masters being black as well but then again the same goes for jessica alba making susan storm latina and Johnny storm white.  But it was everything how i pictured a lot of it. Johnny Storm with his cockiness and huge ego and pissing off the Thing by playing pranks and calling him names.  Reed Richards speaking in his Sicentology langauge.
But most of all nobody couldve played a better thing than Michael Chiklis. He featured all the distinguished characteristics of Ben Grimm.  The Thing was more beliveable than that stupid CGI Hulk. Speaking of which in the Near future We have to see a Hulk vs. Thing movie in the near future....I mean we've seen Freddy vs. Jason, Alien vs. Predator and King Kong vs. Godzilla.

Well I really enjoyed wathing the Fantastic Four.

One thing was Michael really made u feel for the thing that he was a monster and an outsider to world we live in, but then he later realized he was happy with who he was cauz he was still Ben Grimm deep down inside and that he was The Thing for a reason.

But Joe if you wanna see a great story involving the human torch playing pranks on the Thing check out Marvel Fanfare #15 (especilally when the torch glues pieces of brown straws and the Thing thinks he's starting to grow stubble and whiskers on his rock body).

I am really looking foward to the Thing solo on-going series which written by She-Hulk wrtier Dan Slott which comes out in the fall. I missed the cover unveiling in Philly if anyone could find the picture of it please send it to me.  Well as i sed the Thing is so cool he deserves his own series like he did in the 80's plus the prior series Marvel Two-in-One.

oh one last thing about my quote about the Hulk vs. Thing movie. My money is on ole blockhead cauz I would love to see a story where the Thing pounds the crap out of the Hulk (not much of a fan and he's an idiot). Rich Buckler even agreed with me on who he would want to win. But if this movie ever did happen I think Michael Chiklis would feel weird punching thin air if ya know what I'm saying.
