You could simply ask him "What color the sky is in his world?" I mean you are talking about a comic book, a fantasy. People do not dress up like super heroes and fight crime in real life. If you see someone doing this please dial 911. I don't think you need to worry about Billy's integrity, because part of comic book writing is fantasy. It does not have to be 100% factual. He is simply pursuing a vocation, just as an artist who is a surrealist might paint a picture. Let Billy's work stand on its own. It's defense is simply its existence and success. And sometimes when you look at it, it is criticisms like your friends that actually lends more credibility to Billy's work. Your friend would not be critical of Billy's work unless it was something that had his interest and seemed important enough to criticize. So I can see positives even from the negative.

But as Ash says in Army of Darkness,"Then again, maybe I'm a Chinese Jet Pilot"

Thank you Achilles!  Jamar, I'll check out the page.  Are these people in Japan?  Wow are they talking about me in Japan!  Woo-Hoo!  Actually, my father-in-law and I are planning to hit a Japanese Comic Con (with our booth and all) in 2006.  Any suggestions to a big show?

Ya so far anyone that has made any comments in the thread are  in Japan and we All Americans. Some are in Southern Japan and I am in Northern Japan.

I wish I could help you with what comic show to go too but I really dont know the first thing about comic shows never been to one in the US or JAPAN LOL.
I only read about 4 titles so I guess maybe I am not your typical comic book reader.

If I do hear anything I will definately let you know though.

But if you do come to Japan I would love to know what show I may come if I can and it would be my first show I attend ever .

Thanks Jamar!  I appreciate your defending me, but this chap doesn't seem to have read Shi.

Religion:
Ana's father was a catholic convert.

Remorse:

Ana also didn't feel any remorse towards Arashi's men until after she attended the memorial service and saw the faces of their survivors.

Nagel:

On the cover to Senryaku I did a homage to Patrick Nagel (my friend Vito's favorite artist) and gave him full credit in the book.  Also I do know of a certain artist(s) who HAS intentionally ripped off Nagel and showed the original image swiped in issue #7 of WOTW.

I've also tried to draw Ana's "boobs" as realistically as possible.

Thanks again.  I'll let you know about the show and see if we can all get together.  Where in Japan are you?  How far from Tokyo?
