LOL. How much sense did it make to lock the quiz post #1 down from replies before it was answered.

Quiz #200
Unofficial Hint #3: It could be a wrap around cover.

I get home Monday & can post the scans then. I'll just keep the quiz open til then in case somebody wants to keep trying for the prize. If it hasn't been answered by monday, I'll donate the prize to the quiz fund for your 300th quiz

I actually posted the answer for an hour & then changed my mind. I'm surprised nobody saw it.

Delvie, I give up on #200.  I spent several hours on it but did not get the answer.  I know I will kick myself when you post the answer.

3 days before I get home.
3 days of hints (unless I get stuck in NH w/out internet).
You may yet be able to deductive reason the answer. I still have some clues that might narrow it down. The possibility of a wrap around cover might have narrowed the search dramatically.

Except, the quiz was Link Puddin Pants to Tucci in less than 3 (2) links.

ummm... which Spiderman 2099? There's a bunch. ;)
The most direct I find so far is
  • Spiderman 2099 27-32 are inked by Jimmy Palmiotti
  • Jimmy Palmiotti & Billy Tucci worked together on the WOTW TPB cover (amongst other things)
[/color]

Spiderman comic was the 1st comic you ever owned. Is that a link? LOL

I found a 3 page articale in Hero Illustrated #25 July 1995 that also mentioned Billy had graduated from FIT and then did something few expected from him: he joined the military.

And it's not Wizard #44 April 1995  ???

Great guesses but this one is a bit obscure of a reference for Billy.  It has Lisa Simpson on the cover.
