Delvie Billy told me that since you will not come to see him at a convention, and ask for your own sketches. You will have to work for the 3 sketches you asked me to have done for you. This must be done before I can send them to you.
So here is what you must do.
First: Find the place where we can all go to play a Shi Game. There you will find a game made just for you.
Second: Play the game
Third: Identify witch of the 3 Sketches it is Tomoe, Yoshitora or Gojira (that is the easy part once the game is over)
Forth: Post the sketch
Last task: Tell me why it is wrong.
Only then can I ship them out to you.
Good Luck

This is pretty cool. How long did you guys take figuring this one out?
OK. Process of elimination. It's not tomoe, even though the eyebrows have obviously been tweezed. Both Yoshi & Goji wear the samurai head tie, Yoshi is considerably older & would have more wrinkles.
Ummm... what's wrong? I see three possible things,
did a bird go #2 on his forehead, or is that lighting, or is that the mistake?
his nose is too small & too high, either that or he has a Jay Leno chin.
again, his eyebrows are tweezed. Men can do that, but gramps has bushy brows & Gojira doesn't strike me as metrosexual. How'd I do?[/color]

I have to confess. I was looking too hard. & I knew it had to be more obvious than that. I had to call Lickie & have her look. She is the one that said, "what about the stamp? Could that be it?" I had to have her go look @ one of my sketch books.
So technically, she gets these, hunh? LOL
That was pretty cool having to go on a scavenger hunt like that. Even more cool is that not just 1 or 2 of you were in on it, but evidently a bunch of my friends were in on it. But yah, now I have the 1st 5 of my "SHI CAST SET". I have SHI, ARASHI, & now TOMOE, YOSHITORA & GOJIRA. Thanks for grabbing these for me & THANK YOU BILLY for giving me even better & better sketches each time.

Looks like the Hulk with two sets of eyebrows. :-X LOL Ironically, Lickie said the exact same thing. That is a chord that samurai wear that serves 2 purposes. The official purpose (from what I understand) was to hold the top knot down in back during battle. Another benefit is that it helps keep sweat out of the eyes.

Secondly, it was fun seeing if Delvie would get that, Sllamky and I had lots of fun at our fellow samurai's expenses. ;D Ya gotta be in it to win it!

It frustrates me out the wazoo that my work schedule conflicts w/ so many comic convention dates. I've been to one convention in 3 yrs. As it turns out, I was supposed to be working that day, too... it just happened that I was working in the same town. The way my schedule of 3 wks on & 1 wk off works out, though, everything tends to cycle every 4 yrs. So likely, every single convention next year should fall on my weeks off. I am hoping to make it to San Diego this year, though.
I can't thank you enough to my 3 amigos who have picked up sketches for me @ the cons in my absent.
Kuki, Slammy... Joe...
Billy, I can't thank YOU enough for doing continual sketches for someone that appears to be a ghostly memory. LOL. Not only have you done a bunch of cool sketches for me over the years, but they are getting more & more detailed & each one is more awing than the previous one. You've given so much. Friends like you are truly hard to find. Can't wait to hang w/ you again.
While the sketches are the most prized posessions in my Shi collection & I appreciate the efforts you guys have made helping me expand it, the worst part is not being able to hang w/ you guys in person for so long (can't believe I still haven't met JC ). The Chinese dinners - Italian dinners - bathroom knifings - pizza parties - lil king growing up. These are the times I hate my job.
