Hey thanks for the info about where the flags go! That was my next question. I'll keep an eye out for it on eBay. Looking forward to seeing what you won.

As I promised. Here is the latest addition to my Shi statue collection. It is the rarest of them all (unless someone else has different info) It is the GOLD EDITION limited to only 199 pieces. I have only seen 3 of these in the last 2 years on ebay. The one from last year went for more than $400. There is a broken one up for sale on ebay now for about $150. And then there is this one. To be honest I like the black base version better. So I may put this back up on ebay after a while. I was trying to make it look like they were fighting. I dont get to play with my statues that much.

Those are awesome. What is the sword made of? I didn't know that they were removable.

Looks cool. I think there was a gold base version of the green base statue, but I don't remember for sure.

I didn't know that they were removable. they are removable of coarse you can see that. and they are made of metal not sure what kind it is. but it is very soft. I like the detail in the regular version. that is why I decided to put the gold one back on ebay.

Here is another rarity I picked up a short time ago. This is the SHI 12 inch doll. What makes this rare is it is a COMIC CON HAND PAINTED PRE-PRODUCTION SHI 12" DOLL ONLY 40 OF THESE WERE MADE Here is a write up review of it. http://www.mwctoys.com/REVIEW_082903a.htm To be honest it is hard to see the differences. When you put them next to each other, you see slight variances.

Are the boots painted on? The normal figure has removable boots.

No this is rarer than the ones Billy sold. His had 99 these were only 40. I have only ever seen one Virgin Face version and the extra head was in the bag with the fig. and the box was the same as the normal one, if I remember right. Just like the Gold Statue I bought (see previous page) I like the regular version better. and I know that these are both much harder to find. but I think they need to go back to ebay.

When these came out at the con, I was looking forward to buying a couple of them, but they sold out immediately. So unfortunately, I wasn't able to get one. On the virgin one, there is also a sticker on the box denoting the limited edition.

The one Billy sold as a limited edition does have the virgin head with the set - I changed mine to be the virgin head vs white painted face so I could tell the difference. I don't have the limited to 40 though.
