Hey, can we put our own Shi quizzes out there? I have a simple one...when is Ana's birthday (day and month-like all comics characters, I guess her year is always changing)? I thought it was a nice touch for Crusade to have given her one, since not many characters in comics do.

Delvie, they could be silver - 200 copies is mentioned on the seal, so you could still be correct on the number of gold's they put out. It is very hard to tell looking at them.
I picked up the 3 preview Avatar fan club editions at the local comic shop three days ago-the ones they had were gold seal. With Avatar, though, they could end up being every color of the rainbow ^_^. |

According to Avatar's press release http://avatarpress.com/2005solic/01/index.html , all 3 of this months releases are supposed to be Silver Seals
I haven't had a chance to get back to Maryland yet to pick up the new ones so I didn't have a chance to look. My bad.

Well... I picked up all 3 of mine today & I have to say... these are, in fact, the goldest silvers I've ever seen. I also am ill impressed w/ how shabby the gold seals are. They damned near missed the sticker w/ the printing. It's actually kind of humorous how cheap manufacturers will get to try to make another buck off of fans. What's even more humorous is that I know pretty much that I am being ripped off, but I send the money anyway just to have a complete Shi collection. Anyway, I've sent an email to Christensen inquiring if there were in fact Silver & gold seals for Avatar fan club or if they just misprinted in the press release.

For 10 years ago today the title, artwork and the Way of the Warrior storyline was offically recognized by the United State Copyright Office.
It was the best 20 bucks I ever spent in my life!
