ok since you asked for them I did a search and I guess I did not post these

this first one was a commission Sean did for me last fall at the MotorCityCon.
I liked it so much I decided to have him ink it for me.

And here it is as most of you know I have Boycotted the Lady Death/Shi series put out by Avatar.
well the thing is my Boycott was against  Avatar not against seeing Lady Death and Shi together.

So here is my solution

I want to have Studio Hades do a piece for me for Christmas.
It will be Dr Strange and Clea and faithful servent Wong (Wang?) watching a rent-a-flick of Harry Potter.
The good Dr and Clea would be levitating with no sofa, Wong would be serving popcorn, Dr would be pointing at something funny (Maybe Harry pointing a wand at a dragon).
I like funny drawings, and Studio Hades does them great (and priced right too!)

That would be cool.

We need more Funny Shi, too.

I have an idea for Ana wearing a pizza hut hat & holding a pizza & she's surrounded by the Mutant Ninja Turtles who each have a slice & they're all looking up @ us sort of like we're taking a picture from above/front. Of course, they've all got sh*^ eating grins (some call it the bowman grin).

I gave Darrell O'Riley an idea for a Johnny Bravo/Shi piece but it didn't turn out the way I suggested. The idea was for JB to have Ana over his shoulders in a fireman's carry w/ Ana rolling her eyes & tapping her fingers on her chin like she can't believe she puts up w/ him.

I also had an idea for Shi doing kata using The Bug's Life's "Slim" as a bokken & him saying swish swish like he did in the movie.

I have other ridiculous ideas as well, including almost an entire plotline/storyline of JohnnyBravo/The Tick/Shi artwork in my head.

I was wondering if you had gotten that  yet.   I know Fabi had a lot of fun doing that piece. And it shows.

Fabi is over in the Netherlands this weekend at a festival called Castelfest . She is doing a mini tour of Europe. Creating and selling her art. She is hoping to find a gallery or two that will to show and sell her art.

If you like her work. close your eyes and send her a good thought.  Trust me she will feel it. She is very tuned in to things like that.  Really.

of all the artist that I have had commissions from Fabi is by far the one I like to deal with most. she is a lot of fun.
becouse of this She and I have become good friends.  and we have never met in person.
I hope to get her over here one day I think she would be a hit at the conventions

My first official sketch arrived not that long ago.  Not a commissioned piece, and I feel kinda bad because I didn't pay very much for it, but those are the breaks sometimes.

A sketch by Kris Carter, done on the back of a Blue Line Pro art board:

I like it so much I'm considering having him do the whole cast for me - when I have money again, which may be December at this point.

My god why would you feel bad. getting a good deal is nothing to feel bad about.

In fact, in my Book you get bragging rights!

do you think this guy would have felt bad if you payed twice as much as what he wanted.

hold your head up and shout it out load
 "I GOT A GREAT DEAL"

very nice piece by the way

yeah defiantely be thankful ya get a good deal. There are others out there that will overcharge for art. Seen it done before more than once. never feel bad on the price. remember the artist made that price. Not you.

And the art does look good.

Actually... ebay made the price, which is why I feel bad about it.  Ask kiki - I get very unhappy when something that I know should go for more ends up not going for enough.  Technically, my first sketch could have been kiki's inked Vampirella, but there was no way I was going to let him give that to me for what I won it for, so we worked out another deal.  In this case, his commission prices are very fair and reasonable, but this piece just didn't go for very much at all.  I feel bad about that.  But he'll get more of my money later, so I don't feel that bad.  After convention season.   crossfingers
