All of those last pictures are phenominal. I really like the thick to thick lines used. Very pleasing to look at.

Yeah im trying to find all the deep ink ones and then drift back to the light penciled sketched art. Change it up a bit.
I have kinda liked randys work either light or dark now days. Dunno why. Im a pencil sketched art lover for some time.

Yeah, to me, pencil art is the best. I just happen to really like the line weights used on these pieces a lot.

It's two scans. Though it looked right in photoshop, this is what it turned out to be. BTW, Lisner's Dawn was an inspiration for this piece. I was changing around my action figures and was inspired by a Dawn figure.

He might have paid $65 for the Spiderman. The Turners? I doubt he paid $30. I paid $50 & less for my Jay Co. remarks. You can buy them on their website for $65. I know this seller. We've discussed his connections & he says he has a friend @ Jay Co. I know he gets 1st dibs. He might even get discounts.
Unless it's the old solid black Transformers remarked in gold which usually sells for $75-100 or the Spiderman sketch covers that only sold so high because of hype $200 is a hell of a mark up. Just like Giovanni that sells Tucci's sketch covers for $40 & $50 on ebay.

That's not by chance a 5'10" thin british fellow with glasses that can be found behind nearly every image selling booth at cons? I wanna say his name is Paul?
We met him a couple years ago and have seen him at every chicago con always plowing through the Aspen, Cow, and Jay booths. Buys up tons expensive covers.

ok catch up begins
Dark - without sounding like a noob... who exactly are those sketches of? I love them (especially the first one you just posted, with the numbers in the eyes - that's brilliant!), but I have no idea who the character is! I know, I know, I'm out of touch with the comic world. Part of being an uber-picky collector, I guess. In other news, today is a good day for me. Two firsts for me. For one, my first ever original (read: non-print) piece of comic art. Not a sketch yet, but just as good as far as I'm concerned! Second (and if the first part didn't make me sound like a noob, this certainly will), my first ever Silver Age comic! I'm excited for it. Of course, being a true collector with a want list and all (a want list which does not include Silver Surfer), that is up for trade if anyone here is interested. If not, it'll likely go on ebay soon, because $200 or so towards my want list is much nicer to me than a 7.0ish Silver Surfer #1... but just having it is pretty darn cool!
