For now they are put away. Till i got the one piece that i have been waiting on for lets see 1999 i think. I can show part of that 20 piece set tomm if ya like to see some of it.

Ok what ill do is set up the story then unfold tomm. Like Billys shi tour editions AKA sketch editions. There is a redemption black book for Darkchylde. I was having Randy do a 20 piece set of pretty much 18 Character shots and 1 jessica/darkchylde back to back or darkchylde/manga darkchylde back to back. And the last one was of randy himself.
Was going to slap all these into 2 big frames and have it in gold lettering on the bottom, the details and all. Well long story short. I have 4 of the 20. Once done i was going to have all my art framed around it. But as ya can tell it might not happen for a very very long time.
Who knows i might just do non darkchylde or selected works framed after all. Since i have always enjoyed billys work. Even though im not a avid shi fan/collector. Would have been broke a long time ago. But i do enjoy his artwork. So who knows.

I definately understand your plan. I'm currently working on a Shi cast set of sketch covers as well. So far I'm @ 7 out of 25.
& for your the record, I am a Sketch Cover collector & your covers are my fav out of all your artwork you've displayed so far.

Hate poor ole me. Hehehe. Are you doing the same way as me with those four or ya going through ebay for them. Or are ya being selective as to which books get what sketch. Since i know theres a few out there. Yeah now ya can understand a little as to why i wanted to have them done then the collection around it. But i was gonna go one step further and have everyone that had hands in the darkchylde area. AKA books cards lithos pinups. But after finding out that some of them i couldnt get a hold of. I just went one step less. I had a randy, jimmy yu, still trying a gorder one. And make a three frame thing. but got randy and jimmys. But did get a tony daniel too. Lookie. randy  jimmy  tony  So im kinda glad i stopped and decided to still get one from gorder and end that run. |

I need about 9 more to finish my Tucci Shi base set.
For the cast set, I'm having B do them all on the AOW white sketch covers. Sadly, I can't seem to ever be off @ the same time as a con, so I have to rely on my buddies to get them done for me.
I'm also trying to collect @least 3 of every different sketch cover I can find & have a certain awesome new artist do them. He's done 3 for me so far & they're AWESOME. I've got 2 blank Darkchylde: Redemption covers so far, but I'm concentrating on having the white covers sketched 1st.
I do buy a lot off of ebay.

Ahhhh i see severe collector of those sketchbooks. far beyond me. good luck for the most part. But ya need help if ya aint going to san diego. im sure one member here will take ya list in hand.
But i do know if billy does another new blank sketchbook. might be investing stock in that book and take most of that run. Kinda like his blank sketchbooks.

Actually, B's got a new one coming out this or next month. Toranoshi should be able to back order a few for you. I've ordered 10-15 or so.
