Thanks. Kikuchiyo did it. I probably should have posted this over on his sketch post, but I want to help expose him for the talented artist he is.  blahblah

Thanks everyone. I'm getting a kick outta drawing these. Here is one that Delvie has already seen

and another that he doesn't know about yet.

I actually recorded myself drawing the Aphrodite/Shi cover. It is in 3 minute segments, but for some reason I can't upload it to photobucket or you tube. Can anybody help?

Did you notice that Witchblade is wearing a Shi Shirt?

Those are AWESOME, Brad! I love the green/red yin/yang touch.

I'm kind of curious about uploading too. My DVD driver is all screwed up on my laptop, so I'll have to wait til I get home to upload this disc of Shi fighting video. Can't wait to see your video, though. What exactly is happening in Photobucket when you try to load? Or have you gotten that far? After you log in, you'll see this

Click on video

Then browse your files like you normally would for pictures.

Note:
Max 10 minutes
Make sure the file name does not have any spaces or special characters such as ( / * , ‘
Supported video file types are 3g2, 3gp, 3gp2, 3gpp, 3p, asf, avi, divx, divx, dv, dvx, flv, moov, mov, mp4, mpeg4, mpg4, mpe, mpeg, mpg, qt, wmv, xvid

Hope that helps.

Nice sketches. I'm glad that you are on this board. We get new members quite a bit here, but none that are very active. Your excitement is fun.
And yeah, post to your hearts content. We LOVE to look at new work. rockon

Kikuchiyo: thanks. Yeah its pretty fun to post what everyone has and can actually see some artists works on paper.
Boom: Yeah i liked it to when he did it. Never expected a lil ernie on purgi at all.
sllamky01: yeah i have but i have only done what 2 actual cons 98 of course and 2004. Since prices are costly to travel now and then. Kinda ruins the effect of getting sketches done all the time. And sometimes i take a risk and hope artists that i want show up. Cause cancellations do happen alot.

Now for 2 more sketches.

1. Lady Death By Morales I think. Dont remember who did this one

2. Wolverine by texiera

Enjoy.

I do not think I have seen a Texeira look so rushed when ever I see him at the cons he seems to really  take his time.

dosen't kill ya not to know who did a piece of art. I have some really cool pieces that I have no idea who did them. hahaha

So Darkwinter where do you live?

Scott, it's a known fact that Texiera shows up to conventions hammered a few times.  He knows me he happens to be best friends with my book illustration professor, Eric Velasquez.  Even showed up to my class last year for the 1st 2 weeks.

I have a question about the cover piece.  It looks grainy. was the drawing Inked or were you trying to show detail to Billys light pencils by playing with the contrast.  becouse I have that same trouble all the time.

That pict was taken some time ago on a new program that kinda sucked for me back then. I can always rescan it and show it better then this one.

1. Dorkchylde cover spoof.
