I have similar talent in drawing. Funny thing is that if I visually see something, I can do a pretty good job representing it on paper. But to take an idea and get it down on paper, with correct perspective, coloring, shading, etc., I just can't seem to do it. I've given thought to taking a drawing class just to see if I can get a better understanding of my talents (or massive lack thereof). Problem is I'm afraid to spend money and find out that I really suck as bad as I think I do.

oh. none of the covers that I post in pic of the day are mine. I post mine over in the bowman blog.
Michael & I discussed me commissioning 1 after tax season. It'll either be Ash of Evil Dead or it'll be The Crypt Keeper.

My goal was to get 1 w/ each of the characters in the border & I don't have anywhere near enough. So far I have 5 Marvels Project covers sketched & only 1 has a character from the border. I'm losing ground on the goal fast!

Still waiting for blank sketch covers ordered by my dealer. I've got a couple of Shi covers waiting for an artist worth the money to come to town. But then again, I'm waiting for a show to come to town as well.

ya trying for the full list of them characters. Oh goooood luck. It will cost ya big time if you are noteven a 1/4 of that done. If the blanks were easier to get. Then I would snag a good ten for a all in the family style wolverine sketches.

Darkwinter No. I either wrote it wrong or you read it wrong.
I was meaning to imply I have 5 Marvels Project sketched covers (Emma - Dark Queen, Emma - White Queen, Sentry, Stan Lee, Wonder Woman) & out of 33 characters in the border, I only have 2 of them (Emma - White Queen & Sentry). Since we've discussed this, I've realized that who I thought was Emma Frost is actually Jean Gray (grey?) & it turns out that I only have 1 character from the border. So yeah, 5 down - 32 to go. Ugh! That's 1/33. I wish I was @ 1/4. alas...  pctchuckPlease do keep an eye out.

That is one HUGE tulip tree, or are you placing doll chairs under it to fake the scale? These trees around here have mostly lost their flower. It got too hot too fast this spring for the plants around here, but it has moderated back into spring after a couple of days of sun in the high 80s.
