I was a fuel cell technician, and we worked INSIDE the wings! It's cramped, nasty, and you have to wear a full face respirator with supplied air which tends to cut down on your visibility and mobility! Plus I did that for over 16 years! You get really banged up and bruised in there! I felt the time was right for the younger guys to do that! And 22 years total time spent in the military was enough for me! Time to move on to other things!!
I was an instrument/auto-pilot tech for B-1Bs and C-130s during Desert Storm from Grand Forks ND. Fuel cell always seemed like such a dangerous job to me. Thanks for doing that! Oh, you're welcome! I actually enjoyed the job! (probably due to the absolute "bizzareness" of it really!) so did they at least give you a window to look out of? No, no window at all! Remember, I'm working inside the wings! We did have explosion proof lights, but when they went out (as the very often did!) we were in pitch blackness! |

After several tries, I got to 17.281 seconds. I had to figure out the pattern of movement to get past 6 seconds, then it went well for a while.

I'm really trying to break the 18 second mark, but the best I'm able to manage so far is 17.776! My twin sons, on the other hand are great at this!! Geoffery: 21.687!!  Domenic: 21.657!! |
