Just curious about any updates or pictures. Who are you looking forward to meeting?

Posting this for Jay Co.

Quote
Hey Everyone-

This week the Comic Con International kicks off in San Diego. And this show is unlike any other in history.  It’s not because it’s the largest of its kind.  Or that the attendance will shatter all previous records.  Or that just about every film star and media darling will make their latest announcements here…

For us, the real difference is what is going to be missing from the convention-  MICHAEL TURNER.  Surely you’ve heard the tragic news as reported on sites such as Newsarama.com or Comicbookresources.com, or the various message boards.  For us, it’s really hit hard.  JayCompanyComics started doing the convention circuit right when Witchblade launched.  We made sure we represented our then fledgling business to just about EVERY show Mike attended- from Los Angeles to Charlotte, Phoenix to Orlando, Pittsburgh to Seattle, San Francisco to Philadelphia, Chicago to San Diego…

JayCompanyComics.com cannot express anything new what hasn’t been said about the greatness of Mike Turner.  Seeing his friendly smile, and his constant enthusiasm made it feel great to be in business with this Giant of the Comics industry.  We will always be thankful for the time, care, and compassion of Mike…

If you guys are coming out to the San Diego show, there will be a special MICHAEL TURNER panel presented by ASPEN on Sunday July 27.
Bill and Jimmy S. Jay will most probably be locked into our booths on the show floor, but our hearts will be with Frank and the entire ASPEN CREW.

For the Convention itself, Comic Con International San Diego takes place starting this WEDNESDAY, July 23 for a Special Preview Night, and open each day through Sunday July 27.  Hours of operation and the amazing programming can be found on the official site at www.Comic-con.org

JayCompanyComics.com will have TWO separate locations on the show floor.  Bill will be found at TABLE ONE at #423 and Jimmy will be manning the T-2 booth #937.

HIGHLIGHTS for TABLE ONE #423:
*Hottest New Titles
*Widest selection of Top Cow, ASPEN, and Grimm Fairy Tales books
*Most Impressive Back Wall Comics- Hard to Find Variants, and Key back issues
*Best Selling Hardcovers
*Large Alphabet of comics for $2.50 each- UNDER COVER PRICE, and Easy to Find!
*Extensive Michel Turner/ASPEN Collection

HIGHLIGHTS for T-2 Booth #937:
*Hottest New Titles
*Even larger back wall- we’ve expanded our stock from previous shows as the new display is 10ft. tall, packed with Hard to Find Variants, and Key back issues
*Best Selling Hardcovers, and many out of print gems as well
****The World Famous $1 Boxes- Only the Best are represented, gone is all the fluff-everything from rare FATHOM variants to modern classics such as Ultimates and Wolverine, Premium covers, and a whole lot more.

At both booths, JayCompanyComics.com will be releasing the newest in our line of CONVENTION LIMITED 500 special editions.

From Zenescope, a GRIMM FAIRY TALES #11 Bluebeard will have a NEW cover by EBAS featuring the sexiest Pirate Girl on the Seventh Seas.  The Convention Limited 500 comes with GOLD FOIL logo and certificate of authenticity.  There is a GOTH Limited 100 available as well, which should sell out quickly…

Also available- GRIMM FAIRY TALES #21 Sorcerer’s Apprentice.  This new edition features a BIKINI cover by Keu Cha.  The Convention Limited 500 comes with GOLD FOIL logo and certificate of authenticity.  And the Goth Limited 100 will be available as well…

There will be several MUSEUM EDITIONS available at the convention.  We’re pleased to present the artwork of J SCOTT CAMPBELL and DAVID FINCH with the Beyond Wonderland #1.  These books are hand crafted with the finest archival materials, each individually numbered to just 25.

If you can’t make it out to the show, JayCompanyComics.com will have a FULL RANGE of show exclusives.  From the books mentioned above that we produce, as well as the hottest books from the hottest companies.  Also we should be including artist sketchbooks and other rare items that you can only pick up at the SD Con itself…

There is a brand new section listed under CONVENTION SPECIALS on the left sidebar directory dedicated to the new releases of Comic Con International San Diego.  Please continue to check back frequently to the site, as there should be MANY updates.  New scans, artwork, and products.  Please keep in mind, the supply of all of these books are extremely limited and we should sell through our allotment almost immediately…

If you have ANY questions, please give us an email directly at
billjay32@aol.com

We appreciate your time and business-

Your pals-
Bill & Jimmy S. Jay…

Hey guys,
We're back after a great convention (our best since 1998!) and it seems everyone's happy with Sgt. Rock and that my new Shi series comes out next year.  I'll blog about our crazy trip home, but want to thank Kiki, Roy and Chet for such a great, great time and all their help in breaking down.  We usually hold a Chinese dinner but because of William's birthday we had to leave Sunday night (well, that was the plan then cam our flight problems -- more on this tonight)!  The picture of the model is a funny story as Maxum was trying to take a picture of me when she stepped in front!  :)

Hey guys,
......The picture of the model is a funny story as Maxum was trying to take a picture of me when she stepped in front!  :)

You should probably be glad she did, because you might not have ever lived down being in the Maxim
"The hottest girls of Comic-Con 2008" feature.
I'm just sayin...

Is Maxim planning on a story about the hottest "women" in comics?  I might actually buy that one!
