I'm not sure. I won't go unless they pay for me. But I was invited to sign at the Fantastic Realm booth. They offered to fly me in and pay the hotel (and have a big booth) but will have to see. I love the show, but am pissed at Wizard and the lack of respect they show me.

ok, we will be there for sure the whole weekend, we have our passes and i booked us at the Hyatt, which will be easier for us since we will have the kids and if Dom needs a break I can take him to the room for a bit.

Finally it looks like I may have a buck or two left after vacation, and Wizard moves the show from August to June. And guess what... I'm off to Scout camp that weekend. Just my luck.

Yes,
I am going as a guest of Fantastic Realm. I will be signing at their booth (1216) all weekend. I'll have my lithos (and TJ's artwork), books and other stuff.
We'll all have a blast.

Well we will be around and I will be getting some sketches for Delvie, just waiting to receive the package he is sending me and he said he was going to send me a book to give to you Billy....I also asked him if Scott was going to be there or on the road and havent heard yet, I will keep in touch with Delvie via texting to see what is up

according to my grapevine through Devlie, Scott wont know anything until at least 48 hrs. before so we wont know if he will be there or not.

had a great time at Chicago this weekend and will post up some pics soon of some art we got and other pics taken at the con with the kids.
I will admit it was better then last year and seemed a lot fuller then last year, and busier then last year.

I saw some pics of Billy at the aspen booth during the Tribute for Michael Turner!
I cant imagine what it felt like to be there at that time.
I heard that a lot of artist where there to show their respect and do sketches for the fans,
If you got one of those please go over to the aspen boards and post them there,
Peter Steigewald has started a own topic just for those sketches that were done atthe tribute.
They also have a topic where you can express you condolences!!
I guess this is just a small comfort for his family, but I think they should know that we all are with them in our thoughts!!

Great pics along with some great "gets". I think you should just throw away the EBAS sketch or better yet, send it my way. HA HA. EBAS is awesome. I think that might be the first time I've seen a Shi sketch from him. Does anyone else have one to post? Looks like it was probably an expensive weekend. How much do EBAS and Manapul charge for sketches? EBAS is one of those guys that I am in such awe of, that I just can't approach him. He is an artisitc gawd to me.  |
