Hey all,
We are one of 15 shops nationwide taking part in this promotion. Here are the details:

BUY GROCERIES, HELP COMICS!

Ralphs and Food 4 Less club members can help The Hero Initiative without spending a penny!

LOS ANGELES (October t'k, 2007) -- How do you raise bucks for your favorite comic book charity and get free stuff without spending a penny?

If you live in California, Nevada or Illinois and have a Ralphs, Food 4 Less, Cala Foods or Bell Foods grocery card, The Hero Initiative and 15 of its favorite comic book stores urge you to come into one of the following stores during the period of October 22-November 7. Bring your grocery club card, sign up to support Hero, and you could win an Ultimate Spider-Man #100 Project hardcover autographed by Stan Lee! More prizes and free goodies may be available as well depending on the store, so make sure and check 'em out!

Best of all, this happens at no cost to you! The grocery chains pay The Hero Initiative a percentage of whatever you buy when you use your grocery club card!

“We're offering a free comic to everyone who signs up, and additional drawings for $50 gift certificates and free trade paperbacks,” said Mike Wellman, manager of The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach, CA. “It's a great idea, and a 100% pain-free way to help Hero every time you buy Ho-Hos!”

Funny thing is that I drove past the first Food for Less that I have ever seen in St. Louis this afternoon while taking the back roads over to pick up my comic books.

Drop in there and sign up for a card. I can then sign you up for the raffle in our store. This goes for everyone that has a store in their area.
