I was wondering if anyone saw the new Fantastic Four movie? Julie and I happened to like it.

Loved it except for how they portrayed Galactus.
He is a character, not a cloud.
Ever since the silverish effects in Terminator II, I have waited for Silver Surfer on the big screen.

I finally saw it yeseterday. I was hoping when I was in Italy to go see it cause i jsut couldnt wait till I got back. Turns out not a single movie theatre would have it in english with italian subtitles.  And i certainly wasn't interested in finding out how to say "It's CLobberine Time" in Italian.

I enjoyed itjust as much as I enjoyed the 1st. I will have to agree with joe on this. But you also have to keep in mind Galactus might've looked silly with that stupid thing on hsi head.  However doom looked real hardcore and I'm glad he now wears a suit.  When I 1st found out that doom and surfer were both gonna be in the movie I knew they were gonna use the story wear he steals his power.

I enjoed this once a lot more than the 1st however the 1st was based mainlye on the Thing so it's pretty much tied.

I, also, wasn't a big fan of how they portrayed Galactus.  The Silver Surfer was well done and Laurence Fishburne was really good as his voice.  I liked the "jock vs nerd" exchange between Reed and the general - it was taken nearly verbatim from "Ultimate Extinction".

All in all, I thought it was an enjoyable film - moreso than Spider-Man 3.

Yeah, it was WAAAAAAY better than the first one. I could actually watch it again. I did love the Surfer. I actually liked him better after (spoiler)

his board was taken from him. I liked the tonal range of his skin, especially in his face. Very cool looking. I like the entire cast except for Alba. She is way too young of an actress to portray Sue Storm/Richards. Plus, I think she looks kinda bizaare with the contact lenses, blonde hair with her skin color.

The producers queried their actress databases and looked under see-through and her name came up.

Hey Joe, your post count is at 4444. Quite coincidental if you ask me for it to be in this topic.
