Hey all, Here's the cover to issue 1 of the upcoming Shi/Fallen Angel Crossover. It's a flip cover so retailers can put it on the shelf with either Shi or Lee (Fallen Angel) rightside up. I promise that I didn't use Angelina Jolie for the Shi reference! Let me know what you think...  |

Beautiful pencilwork Billy. The first thing that I noticed was that the Fallen Angel characters eyes, though well drawn, are askew. I think HER right eye(our left) lines up pretty well. HER left eye (our right) seems to be on a different plain. With her head tilted in that angle her nose seems off too, like it's not tilted. It's hard to evaluate Shi because she is upside down. Can you post the picture inverted?

Hey All, Here's the final cover art. The playing card will have the same image as the cover but reversed. Get it, it's infinite!  Hopefully Sparky will paint it. I'll show the color influence I'm looking at next post. Enjoy and now I've got to figure out a Tick Story!  |

So how does Peter top that story? Easy—he lets Fallen Angel—whoever it is still wearing the cloak beyond issue 16—meet up with someone even more intimidating… Billy Tucci’s Shi. In issues 17 and 18, Fallen Angel meets up with the Sohei Warrior in a special crossover guest-illustrated by Shi creator Billy Tucci himself.
But wait—as the saying goes—there’s more. Issue 17 will be presented as a special flip-book, featuring two 11-page stories telling essentially the same tale, but from two very different points-of-view. Tucci will be handling Shi’s version of this Rashomon-like tale. Handling Angel’s chapter? Artist Joe Corroney, who last paired with David on Spike vs. Dracula. Both artists will be supplying special covers for this flip-book presentation.
