Seems like this was brought up before, but the search program can't find it. I think it was in a quiz.

Event Comics was a company of Jimmy Palmiotti & Joe Quesada's. I have messages in to each of them (& Amanda, as well) asking details.

If I remember correctly this is from the 1995 or 96 convention season. I have a vague memory of seeing it at the Chicago Comic-Con.
