It's great to be on the first pate, but right now I am underneath Richard BoomBoomVaVoom and next to Beau Smith. Both good looking guys, to be sure... but not my type. ;) I would much prefer being between Mandy Amano and Sarah Wilkenson. Can we work on that? ;D
Anyway, I looked up the page on my Verizon broadband wireless card - which, depending on the "reception" can be just a little bit faster than dial-up. Just to let you know, Delvie, it loads up perfectly fast - no delays.

Thanks for the reply. The only way to 5 per row is to use the code that I use on myspace/Delvie which is a real pain in the butt. Over there, I am going to put all you guys in a Shi picture map like the one for Pirates.

Sure. Absolutely. I've always said, if you need anything from me, feel free to ask. Next week is my week off so I can get it updated. I'm usually online every night w/ the occasional week long lapse, so I can constantly keep it updated. I'm still trying to figure out how to get that song to play automatically. Did you listen to it?
Not yet. I'll go on now. When's a good time to call you? Say guys, what's the best name should we keep it "Shi, Ana Ishikawa"? Or Ana Ishikawa? Sexy Sohei is good, but should we stay with her name? There are a bunch of "Shi's" correct?

I believe people learn the alias name only after getting familiar with the stage name. In this case people know SHI long before they know Ana Ishikawa. So I think SHI - the Sexy Sohei is a good lead in and then the blurb that people read when wanting to know more details out the family, her real name, etc.

my 2 cents is this. What do you want to do with it. If it is mostly for friends then the Sexy Sohei works well. If you want fans to find it then you have to use sonething they know for searching so the Shi, Ana Ishikawa covers that but then again if you plan on starting to sell from the site then would Crusade Fine Arts be the best?

There are a lot of Shi on myspace, but if you use Shi, and if a fan is looking for you, if you have a pic of Shi it wouldnt be a problem.
I think as long as if you have a pic, people will know who you are.
If you go with Ana, I would go with a fashion pic of Ana or with Sexy Sohei and the pic with Ana holding the Naginata in the white victoria secret outfit.
just a thought...

Here's the thing. When you do a search for Shi on myspace, there are 1196 people listed w/ Shi for their name. If you do a search for only members in the USA & single it down further to people who only have pictures of themselves, that brings the list down to 356. That's 120 pages of Shi names or 36 pages of Shi names, depending on which list you do. The chances of somebody finding either Shi page in all that is slim.
What we need to do is figure out a way to convince the guy who is registered under myspace/shi to give it up to us. It is currently owned by a 20yr old from India. I've got a message to him asking if he'd be interested in parting w/ it, but his last log in was in May.
What needs to happen to get Shi presence in myspace is join different related groups. I've joined several martial arts discussion groups, some japanese culture groups, etc. When I start fiddling w/ the main Shi account, I will go & sign your account up on these groups too. For instance, one martial arts discussion group that Shi joined has 1,408 members alone. Another has 521 members. A Bushido discussion groups that Shi belongs to has 233 members & a Japanese Culture directory group has 1969 members. Shi is a member on the Comic Book Excellency discussion group that has 14,780 members. Whether I/You post there or not, when people look @ the members of the group, they will see the Shi picture. We should also start a Shi discussion group & pop in occasionally. Once we start the group, I have the code that we can set up a chat window in the discussion group. That way, if anybody here wants to chat real time, they can go there & open up the window & do it.
Opinions?

P.S. - Buy or rent Clerks II now and see me! I'm the "Elias' Dad" in the cast credits, and when you hear whistling "Polly Wolly Doodle", that'll be me!

One thing we used to do on Yahoo Groups with the ComicArt-L group was have a set time (Wed. Night for mainland U.S. and Sun. Morning for the rest of the world) for a discussion group. It was fun hooking up with comic art fans all over the U.S. and the World. About 5 to 25 people would join in on any given Wed. night, but the key was that folks always knew a consistent time that they could catch up with other fans. By and large, the folks on this Shi/Tucci forum are much friendlier and certainly less contentious than those on the ComicArt-L forum, so I think something like a set chat time could really catch on. Of course, we could always do that anyway on this forum, right? But with the thousands of Shi fans on Myspace, there is an eager audience just waiting to connect with other fans. Just my 2 cents. Bruce (right here in Colorado.)

Cool! This is a cute story with deep insights about friendship and relationships... and a donkey. (Just beware... there is one very raunchy scene involving a donkey. It's hysterical in an "I can't believe I'm watching this" sort of way.) That is not the scene I am in, by the way. Bruce (No animals were injured in making this post)

I don't know the code to do a real time chat box here. I don't need to be there once I set it up. Anybody can go there & use it. You just open a seperate window, click the code & then you & so & so are in the box ready to talk smack about me. LOL Say Slammy & JoJo want to talk about a new book coming out. The could send messages & wait here or go there & talk real time for a few. Or so on.

Updated both sites. SHI - Dark http://www.myspace.com/sexysohei
- Finally fixed the mistake in the "make Shi a friend" button. I can't believe the mistake was such a stupid one.
- I managed to make the extra titles that didn't serve a purpose invisible. "about me" etc.
- Spaced out everything using breaks so things didn't look so scrunched (yes, I know it's not a word) together.
- Fixed errors in SHI Checklist. ( ps. Let me know, please, if type errors are noticed in the future so I don't look like such an imbecile. ;) )
To Do - - Add list of recently released issues of Shi. in an undecided format.
- Get home & upload Shi xmas pic
- Figure out how to make "SHI is in your extended network" disappear. The only code I currently know also makes the blogs disappear & I don't want that to happen. I can temporarily mask it by placing the Shi xmas pic on top of it. That will postpone the prob for 29 days, atleast. LOL.
- Try to get modeling pics used by Billy of Amanda to do a blog write up about her Shi appearances.
- Post a blog entry of pics of everybody who has dressed as Shi (atleast the pics I have collected) w/ an invitation to any fans interested in sending their Shi pictures.
Same as above w/ tattoos.
SHI - Light http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=111972771- Changed song to a song that hasn't been deleted by artist (let me know what you guys think of the song)
- Disabled song default so page is work friendly & music doesn't start automatically.
- Hidden extra words "about me" "Blurbs" etc.
- Put everything in one column
- Added correct repaired SHI Checklist.
To Do - - Do background. Larger white wallpaper is on home computer.
- Hide "SHI is in extended network" but cover over w/ SHI Xmas pic for now (also on home computer).
- Convince Billy to allow me to change title to "The Official SHI" allowing us to finally shorten http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendID=111972771 to http://www.myspace.com/officialshi

Always open to ideas. Anything you guys want to see posted? [/color] PS. Billy. Check your pms.
