The best style of hair for Shi.............

Having watched the Karaoke DVD by Cecilia Cheung singing some weird song called Chuchotter, I now realize that Shi must wear dreadlocks, and that Cecilia Cheung is now my frontrunner at the moment for Shi.

I challenge everyone to see that version of Chuchotter sung by Cecilia Cheung, there are two different videos of it where she sings it, but the one where she has the dreadlocks is off the hook. She can't sing worth a darn, but in that video she looks.................SHI-RIFFIC!!! ;D

A bonus on the DVD is where she sings a duet with some Chinese boy band pop star and they sing Don McClean's American Pie. It is the worst, but absolute funniest version of the song I have ever heard. It does prove she has mastery of the English language, although her singing in any language is not very good.

How about a picture? Cecilia looks good in braids, but I haven't seen her in Dreads. I've been meaning to see The Promise, but haven't had the Jacksons.

I will try to get a capture and post it of her from the video. Save your Jackson's on The Promise. Wait for it to come out to rent on DVD. It is a movie that is not very good, yet entertaining because it is so bad in places that it makes you laugh. Horrendous CGI that makes things look fake beyond fake and a script that is so bad that even the Chinese are mocking it. One Chinese guy has already done a spoof regarding the issue of the bread bun in the movie. It is hilarious according to reports and the director of The Promise, Cheng Kaige is suing him. There are some cool shots in the film, but not near enough to sustain it.

I found a picture, it is only a side view of Cecilia in her dreadlocks. Still you can see that it looks pretty cool on Asian women.

Those are the pics I saw. Those are braids, not dreads. & I agree, Cecilia looks good in braids. Most girls do.

I think it would be cool if Shi wore this hairstyle in the opening of the film. It would not be the one worn throughout the film. I remember reading Billy's treatment and I think Shi's American side would embrace this hair style as a form of rebellion and then switch to the straight hairstyle (I will post a picture of Cecilia wearing a bandana on her head like Shi) as she gradually embraces her Asian side. Now I have to go find that picture.

I think I prefer her having straight hair, that has a touch of fullness to it.  Kelly Hu does this oftern.

Hair flowing in the wind looks so cool, especially in slow motion. It can be so dramatic.

Okay, but since film is a visual medium, what a great way to show transition in a character then to have her change physically in appearance with something as subtle as changing the hair style as she goes from embracing her caucasian half to her asian half.

I like the long straight hair also.
