Cab rides were fine. Not like NYC. But weirdest thing is they start you off with HK$18 (US$2.32) for like the first 5-10 minutes then all of a sudden the fair starts jumping like crazy.  And well over there they drivce on the left which makes sense being owned by Britian for 150 years.

Nice additions to the collection, Frank.  Would not have expected to find comic artists at a book festival.

I guess now your starting to plan for the Big Apple Con.  Looks like there are going to be some great guest there.  Kind of funny seeing that they're bringing in sport stars.  I met Yogi Berra for about 3 seconds at a book signing.  The poor guy was so busy signing his books that he couldn't even look up to see standing in front of him.  I saw several people say that they were friends from the old neighborhood, but as soon as they got the words out they were moving them out the door.

Nice Haul, Frank. That's probably the best Raney sketch I've ever seen.

One of the many many many religious medals I made for PicturesOnGold appeared on the USA sitcom Psych.

http://www.picturesongold.com/products/saint_dwynwen_round_medal_exclusive_p71003.html

I thought it was cool to see it.

It appeared in the episode "He Dead." And it actually was one of the clues for solving a murder.  It was awesome that it played a big part of the episode.

Well I did every EXCLUSIVE Saint Medal for them (excluding: Saint Anthony, Saint Joseph, and the Holy Face of Jesus).  I did their  headshake Obama and Michael Jackson tribute medals. Their web banners and brochures. I designed some of their sports charms. I work full time for them so it's uncountable.  As of March I know how to make rings through Matrix from Rhino.

It's really cool to be able to see something on TV and say "Hey, that's mine, I made that".  Congrats.

Saturday
Got this awesome Godzilla sketch from Herbe Trimpe

I also met Lillian Garcia and Candice Michelle got my autographs however I am fed up with these slimey agents trying to rape us to pay $20 for a photo-op. However from now on I only get autographs from people who throw in photo-op with autograph purchase.
like:
Vincent Pastore

and the beautiful gorgeous Kelly Hu

Sunday

Remember this sketch from Philly

As for Billy I got this sketch of Christie the beautiful British assassin from the Dead or Alive (DOA) game series.

next time I will have Billy shade it.  Also fix the bikini cause Mike Solof the human letter bomb misplaced the reference I gave Billy. The outfit is from the Dead or Alive Xtreme 2 game.
And here it is in color

love the tan lines.

And since it was a bit of a slow day I got Billy to make me a sketch of my favorite character from my favorite series:

Venus from Agents of Atlas

I suggested the twinkles with Billy's pink pencil for when she sings her song.

Show was ok. Nothin like a wizard show at all now they booked next year's show same weekend as the NY COmic Con. I like to see how that plays out.

Nice cover by Billy.  Not familiar with the character or the series, though.  My loss.

Well I know you are not a fan of Marvel however this is a book based on a team of heroes originally from the 1950s (when Marvel was Atlas): Including:

Jimmy Woo, Marvel Boy (The Uranian), Gorilla Man, M-11 (the Human Robot), Namora, and of course Venus.

It's actually based off the "What If?-- The Avengers were formed in the 1950s"

Venus actually is not the Roman goddess of love but actually a siren posing as her. Actually currently in the X-men vs. Agents of Atlas mini-series Venus is kidnapped by the real Aphrodite.

as for your loss....

Indeed!!!!

I recommend to pick up the 2 graphic novels. If you buy Vol.1 in Hardcover it comes with the original 1st appearance issues of each member.

Hey I went to what used to be called "The Big Apple Con" now known as "Comic Book Marketplace"

Show was dull but I hung out with Billy most of the time.

I liked that Venus sketch so much i decided to get her teammate Namora.

Now Namora has a cool outfit but i think seashells would be a better attire.

The sea shells were a great costume, but I'd imagine that they'd be a little chaffing!

Hi everyone,

So Yesterday night I got to meet Jennifer Love Hewitt. A beautiful talented celebrity i felt like I kind of grew up with.

I remember from a past post that she was in Delvie's top 5.

She was signing her new book The Day I Shot Cupid at Barnes & Noble. I got their early so I was able to get a pass to the Q&A into the signing. Now when I purchased the book I had to deal with this whiny little British twit give us all these strict ultimatums about the signing and how if we sneak a pic to get autographed other than the book they would go all "Bad Cop" on us. Anyways getting the autograph wasn't the highlight of my night.

Last week I worked real hard into making her a sketch. Yes I like to make my favorite females into Botticelli's Venus.

Unfortunately the little twit said whatever gifts to give Jennifer are not aloud to be given to her and they will be given to a staff member that will supposedly be given to her. Well I was gonna try every attempt to give her the sketch so she can see it. So how we were seated at the Q&A my part of the line was put into this corner which she happened to pass I just quickly pulle dotu the sketch and said "This is for you" She said Thank you and said I would love ot look at this but my eyes are little blind from the cameras and papparazzi. It was awesome!

She seemed to be in great spirits after her recent break-up.

I saw some other pictures of her that appear to be from the same appearance.  Looks like she was showing plenty of Love to all (not to mention cleavage!), and I'm glad to see that you were able to receive a little.  And yes, Delvie, she still is beautiful.  I'll have to giver her more consideration for my 10 list.
