As you can tell I've been somewhat MIA for the past two weeks.  On the home front, Deb had to go back into the hospital via ambulance last Tuesday.  Due to a major infection, she stayed in ICU until Friday when she was sent to a regular room.  She insisted that I atend the Pittsburgh Con to give me a break and I had a great time (though not as much fun as last year).  Deb came home yesterday and is on the road to recovery though it looks like she'll have some permanent  (but nothing to worry about for the time being) kidney damage.  

The Pittsburgh show was a lot of fun with special thanks to promoters Michael and Renee George.

I'll be starting "Heroes For Hire" tomorrow and am REALLY, REALLY pumped over it!  

I've got a terrible toothache and am on vicadin (sic?) for that and my knee injury (hockey game two weeks ago).  Well, I'm tired and think I"ll take a nap for an hour.

Promise to keep you all abreast of my Marvel adventure daily and will have a better post tomorrow.

I've been pounding away in the home stretch of "Heroes For Hire" #1.  I hope to finish it up by next Tuesday.  I'm finishing up page 16 now and am having a ball with some killer robots.  I screwed up Tarantula on the page and am set to redraw her right now.

 I just recieved a wonderful image of Matthew Vincent from forum member Jennifer Sanchez.  Jen's  known as "notapaperdoll" sent it to me via her friend the "Frankster."  It just warmed my heart.




Again, thank you Jennifer so, so much for such a great present! You captured his likeness perfectly!

My column for "Newsarama" will be up tomorrow chronicling my visit to the Marvels offices last week.

Well, let me get back to the drawing board.
