READY TO KICK SOME ASS

« on: Mon, May 29, 2006, 03:09:27 »

there is a moment of silence
for 30 seconds
as a remembrance
of those that have given
so we have our freedoms.

Hope all have a Happy Memorial Day.  My Boy Scout troop spent several hours yesterday honoring our vets by putting flags on the graves of veterans at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. There are over 140,000 graves in the cemetery, with 14 new graves dug daily. They expect to run out of room in 5 years or so. There were over 4000 people participating in the flag ceremony yesterday, showing our respect and honor for those who have served our country. Remember and honor those who give of their time and lives to keep freedom here in the USA.
And thanks to Billy for the time he served.

I will concur, as I do every year, but I always thought the opposite should be true.
