I would report this seller. I think it's OK to resell the original piece of that artwork, but I don't think it's right to sell prints of artwork without the permission of the artist.

Not a cool thing to do. I just reported him. Although not much money on the auction, it is not decent and above board.

kick scream and shout. i would send him a nasty letter and demand he take it down. you know the other stuff he is selling is not his also. boy he better hope i do not sick my friend Fabi on him. she hates people that do what he is doing. it sucks that the only way to protect yourself is to put a watermark on it. there are a lot of skum that are just like him. brad read this http://pages.ebay.com/help/tp/vero-rights-owner.html

He has since taken it down. He said he bought the print from a comic shop that closed down.

you know it is your artwork you know you did not give permission for this print
so it is wrong...very very wrong!!
I have HR-pics of Frank Cho or Ebas artwork...or Alex Ross even.
I could easily make prints and sell them
that is however just NOT done!!

Thanks guys! I really like this Vampirella a lot. I've had many offers for it, but don't know if I want to sell it. I recently bought a large bed scanner, so I can scan my artwork properly and without having to piece it together like you see above. Sllamky, I did not use cotton balls. Because of the texture of the paper, I was able to just use light squiggly strokes to achieve that look. Whenever I DO blend, I mostly use cotton swabs for smaller areas and use tissue paper forlarger areas. One day, I'll post a some pics of my drawing table and tools and do some "work in progress" pics. Maybe, I'll try video recording a drawing session. Those seem to be pretty big on you tube. Boom, thanks for bringing the pic back up. Sorry that I haven't posted anything lately. I just haven't drawn much lately. I received too many video games from Santa that have been requiring all my attention. Right now, I'm working on a portrait commission, so it might be a while for something new.

Thanks Frank. Love your new avatar. Great work. I recently purchased a large bed scanner, so I can post my work without having to piece scans together. Here is the Vampirella piece without those distracting lines. Also semi recent Shi piece. and a Red Sonja since I'm at it.

What a coinkadink I've been looking for one. Do you have th ename of it or any ideas where I can get one. I've been meaning to replace my busted Dell scanner/printer/copymachine/fax with a new scanner with at least a minimum of scanning a 11" X 14" pad and a laser printer.

Another excellent piece of art. I really like the way you've been experimenting with the effects, like the overall frosted look. I almost missed your Shi piece on eBay. You should have let us know it was going up for sale. Unfortunately, I need to keep extra expenses down to a bare minimum until the job situation clears. Good luck getting a decent price on the piece.

Hey kikuchiyo, I really like your work of late. I thought about bidding on that Shi piece, but I just bought some original art recently. I really like your Shi pieces. They are very respectful and true to the character, which is more than I can say for the majority of new artists that tackle Shi.
