That piece was definately the inspiration for mine. Since I see it everyday, it seemeingly would come out of my pencil sooner or later. I like the pic you posted, the artsist did a great job on the characters eyes. They look to be focused on the sword and not cross-eyed.

Thanks so much Delvie. As I told you before, it was so cool to do a cover. To be a collector for nearly 30 years, it was such a rush to see my artwork on a cover. It's the same feeling I had when I had a letter published in "Conan the Barbarian" back in the eighties. Priceless.
I am so thrilled that you like the work I did for you.
I am so flattered by everything that is said about my work here on this board. I just received an offer for a different drawing of the White Queen that is posted on another site. What can be cooler than that? The funny thing is, it's not even completed.
Right now, I am trying to finish a lot of work that I want to put on e-bay and for others on this board.
So once again Delvie, thanks a lot for your wonderful comments. Your appreciation makes it all worth it.

Hey everybody, I have been in such a slump lately that I figured instead of trying to work on current pics and screwing them up, I started another pic. I know that it is very similar to an earlier post, but sometimes when you want to create something new and you're struggling, it is best to do something that you know you can do. So here is what I am doing at the moment.  For those of you waiting for your pictures, I sent them out today, not last Saturday. My childrens weekend schedule interferred with mine, so I wasn't able to get to the post office. So expect them ion the next couple days. |
