Thanks Sllamky. I have seen her in many variations of her costume, and just picked one for reference and off I went.
Thanks to you too, pctchuck. Every once in a while, for whatever reason, I get in a mode, where it seems as if I can't draw for crud, though others may think otherwise, then BAM!, something like this comes out of my pencil. Go figure.
Thank you too Delvie. I appreciate your awareness of my growth. I like posting my pics here, because you all seem to appreciate it. Now that I think about it, How many of the boardmembers have something from me? I know one pic is out in USPS limbo somewhere, I pray that it is found soon.
This picture is done on my sketchbook paper. It has more tooth on it than comicboard, so I tend to be able to get the type of shading that I want. I will take alook at her eyebrow and see what I can do. Her belt on the other hand is off center, and I'm okay with that. It seems as if my belt, somehow finds its way to move of cener too, so I think this natural. But, I appreciate your attention to detail.

Thanks, I'll have to post something tomorrow. I didn't have a drawing pad, so I had not been able to draw lately.  I am currently working on a pic of the Huntress that I posted a while ago, one of The White Queen and of course Shi. It is a homage to one of Billy's pieces. I can't think of what issue it is, but it is on the back of the BBI Shi figure box. She is sitting down with two swords held in front criss crossing in front of her.

Here is something that I'm doing right now. I enjoy drawing the White Queen because of the ability to change her outfit.

Wow, I can't believe it has been so long since I have updated my sketchpad here. The last pic has been changed, though I am not happy with the change. It may never see the light of day again. :-[
Here are a few pics that I wanted to post. This Shi sketch is just me having fun with a a loose approach.

These next three pieces are all works in progress, that are inspired by one of my favorites artists, Luis Royo. They all contain nudity, so make sure your young ones aren't within view. You have been warned. ;)

I hope you enjoy them. I plan on finishing the last three and finally putting them up on e-bay, to try to bring some extra cash into the household.

Thanks Dawn. ;D I can only work on them perodically because of the subject matter. My wife is, let's say, not too thrilled with some of the things that I draw. Of all the things that are great about my wife, I wish this was one thing that she would be open-minded about.

I hear that. I'd donate some chocolates & flowers to the "Wifie hates Royo-ish sketches fund" for inspiration2.  ;)

My wife has never seen RAZOR #40 from Royo.
It has a chain where I would never dangle a chain if I were a woman.

Here goes one that I just finished. I may have posted this earlier when it was in progress. I forced myself to finish this. It was kinda difficult to go back to this style, as this picture was started last December. This will probably go ro a boardmember after the holiday season.

btw, I have completed 2 ,almost 3 of the freebie sketches. I will be sending them out in January.

Thanks! I was looking at a few of my drawings a couple days ago and realized that a lot of them are stopped at nearly the same point. I seem to stop after I have drawn the left portion of the piece. Somewhere in between 8 o'clock and 2 o'clock, if you can see what I am saying. I've been working on the freebies that I have promised. The only thing is, they are much more than a sketch. By that I mean, they are more "finished line" than sketchy. I've done a Shi for someone, not the one pictured. I've also done a Poison Ivy. The Poison Ivy is my interpretation of the character and has slight nudity in it. I am working on others that are somewhat challenging in the layouts. I also am working on some sketch covers for Delvie and of course my own stuff. The difficult thing is finding time to work on them and the fact that it is so frickin' cold here at night, that i find it very hard to draw at all. Thank you all for your patience. blahblah blahblah blahblah

Here is the current piece that I am working on. It is drawn on comic board. I will finish it tomorrow. Then I will post it at
CAF to try to generate interest, then probably put it on e-bay in a week. I hope to it sells for enough to keep my wife's faith in my artistic future.

Keep in mind, that it is a little dirty, nothing that an eraser can't handle, I also will rework the face as I'm not satisfied with it.
