Thanks everyone. That price just blows my mind. The buyer actually saw it on comicartfans and wanted it, but I told him it was going on ebay. There were a lot of bidders then two dominated the end. I am so excited about this. He is also interested in the pastel drawing of the White Queen.

Very nice Red Sonya. I really like the ammount of detail in the hair and the highlights on the
armor.

Nicely done.  I like the proportions of the image, nothing seems to be too far out of the realm of realistic, if you know what I mean.

Thanks everyone. I might revisit this one to make some adjustments.
Hey Boom, I'm working on another Vampirella that will knock your socks off. When I'm done, I'll post it here and on Vampi's board.
I am really loving what is coming out of my pencil on the colored textured paper.

Here goes a new Vampirella. I think/hope you guys/gals will like it.

Don't mind the angled shaded areas. It's photomerged because it is too big for my scanner.

Thanks a lot. I love his work. I love working in this style, it has been the look that I have been working toward. I have another Vampi that I have been working on in the same style. Of course when it is done, I'll post it.
Thanks everyone els! I'm trying to get better.

That's one hell of a com-pliment... & true. I LOVE Tom's Cybergirl. I also love some of his borderwork. Sometimes, they're more fascinating than the art itself.

Another wonderful piece.

Just to let you know again, when my wife saw the sketch cover you did for me, she thought that it was an actual printed cover, it was that good!

Wow! Thanks everybody! I am so glad that you all like it. I really do like this one myself. When I look at it, I'm like, "Damn! I did that?" Like I said before, I have another Vampi that I am doing, that goes along with this one. Just a little secret for you. I didn't use any type of photo reference. I rarely do, but that doesn't mean I don't or I don't want to. I wish I would just take pics in progress, so you could see how my art develops and how many times I may change something. I had different poses for her left hand tha I erased many times. Also had different items in her hand, such as a really ornate dagger, a cross and a stake, but as you can see, I just left the bare hand. It is very rare that I will have a finished picture in mind that translates onto paper. Most often, I just start sketching and just let things go. Of course I have to listen to music when I'm drawing. Sometimes I draw at my table, but most of all, I like drawing while on the couch with a drawing board.
I sure hope you guys will get a kick out of the rough sketches just as you do the finished ones, 'cuz I'd like to post some of them too.

Yeah, I'd like to see it too, because I forgot to scan it for my photobucket account. Tell your wife that I really appreciate that comment. One day, I'll be able to send Delvie some of his sketch covers and other things.

You're getting better and better with each and every drawing.  Just look at the ones you did a few years ago.  Keep it up and use reference!!!  Time to get a table at a con and sell originals and prints Kiki!

Well done!!!
