I still think the Silver Sable. I think two women who probably couldn't stand each other would be perfect tension. Silver Sable is the most clothed woman of all the super heroes and she has a wicked sense of humor. I like it when she and Spiderman go after each other. Here is a cover with the Punisher.

Yeas so today I read the Giant Size Spider-Woman which turned out to be an ok story and I think Billy couldve done a better story and especially artwork (which was done by Rick Mays the man who co-killed Gen13).  But the great thing about it was the reprints of Marvel Spotlight #32 (1st app), Spider-Woman #1, plus a 2 part story witht he X-Men and Juggernaught.

What did you think Billy and is Shamalama ding dong good or bad.

Silver Sable is one of the better written characters. It is hilarious when she and Spiderman trade insults. Plus she seems to hold her ground against anybody and doesn't take any crap.

That's not a bad idea.  I'll pick up the book tomorrow night.  Any helpful info-b/g on her before I go?

Have they done an Ultimate Psylocke?  That would be interesting and right up my alley.  Any thoughts?

Love to see you do Psylocke !

Billy,
Are you wanting to do a major character the whole world knows to get the name out there under Marvel or DC or a character you personally like?

you know Billy that if you were interested in the white queen in the lastest issue of wizard the Black Queen was one character people have been wanting to see as one of the most overlooked females of comics.

The Black Widow would also be a good comic. They are doing a motion picture of The Black Widow and it would be cool if you could do a comic that tied into the movie or linked to it by storyline.

Guys,
Please see my latest pitch to Marvel  for "Lights! Camera! Captain
America!"  This story arc set in 1944, takes place alongside the
"reel" events of Republic Pictures' "Captain America - Star
Spangled Avenger" action serials of the same year.

The serial was a big hit back then and makes for perfect Golden
Age story arc where Cap and Bucky are sent undercover to
supervise the filming.  There, the story really takes off as we
blend real life Hollywood icons with our own comic book
mythology.  There are incredible coincidences dealing with the
production - star Dick Purcell died shortly after the filming, villain
Lionel Atwill's son was killed while flying for the RAF, Lorna Gray
starring with the "Three Stooges" - that can lead our ultimate "fish
out of water" story all the way to a proposed attack of the
Academy Awards by Nazi commandos.  A great battle ensues in
and around Grauman's Chinese Theatre that has real-life
celebrities fighting alongside Cap and Bucky.

Due to both Marvel and Hollywood lore, I feel there are so many
elements working here (romance, comedy, the marrying of fact
and fiction) that can be included in this miniseries that it's a match
made in Heaven.

Here it comes!

But first some shots from the serial...

Lights! Camera! Captain America!
A Golden Age Serial Adventure
By
Billy Tucci

1944.  The world is engulfed in a struggle of epic proportions and the United States Office of War Information, in conjunction with Republic Pictures, have devised a strategy to bring our red, white and blue clad, hero CAPTAIN AMERICA to the silver screen.

The result -Captain America - Star Spangled Avenger will be serialized for the youth of America and instill in them just "why we fight". DICK PURCELL plays the crusading district attorney Grant Gardner in one of Republic's finest cliffhangers out to stop arch-villain The Scarab's "Purple Death" plot. The legendary LIONEL ATWILL portrays the sinister Dr. Cyrus Maldor who poisons his enemies and steals a secret device capable of destroying buildings by sound vibrations." The stunning LORNA GRAY (The Three Stooges) rounds out the cast as Gardner's faithful assistant and the damsel in constant distress.

As standard procedure with all motion picture production regarding the war, Washington sends two "Technical Advisors," US Army Signal Corps Captain Joe Kirby and his orderly, Private Jack Simon out west to supervise production.  In reality, Kirby and Simon are actually the one and only Captain America, STEVE ROGERS and his gallant sidekick, BUCKY BARNES undercover to ensure the US military's Super Soldier is represented in proper fashion while giving the two heroes, some "R & R."

That's right True Believers, Cap and Bucky go to Hollywood!

What follows is one action-packed, star-stacked adventure in "Tinsel Town" where a stunned Steve finds himself at swanky celebrity soirées, being wooed by Hollywood starlets (eventually falling for Lorna), and even becoming Purcell's "Cap" stunt double on the set.  The star-struck Bucky on the other hand, isn't having quite as good a time as he realizes that (alongside Cap's shield) he's been cut out of the serialization due to censor regulations banning "teenage boys in tights running around with single men."

Things will eventually look bright for the jaded Bucky who embarks on a war bonds tour with a very darling (and smitten) sixteen-year old SHIRLEY TEMPLE.

After a series of comedic movie-missteps, Steve, (armed with his shield) and garbed in the Republic "costume" battles a town infiltrated with Nazi commandos.  There with the help of Purcell, Lorna and Atwill, Cap uncovers the Third Reich's true designs on Tinsel Town... a murderous attack on Grauman's Chinese Theatre and the Academy Awards!

It'll be a war on our shores that will test the will (and fists) of the two "Caps", Bucky and the silver screen's brightest stars as they battle the commandos not just for Oscar, or Betty Grable, but Liberty itself!
