Delvie, it must take years to download these pics to photobucket then to here. Do you have any shortcuts?

Ha
The only short cut I've found so far is to do it in seperate windows.

then - I use the old uploader option & click more photos which allows me to load 15 or 20 @ once.

then - as I'm posting here, before I copy & paste the addies, I click the image button over & over 5 times, like this:

[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]

& then I copy & paste that over & over - like this:
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]
[img ][ /img]

& just bring the pics over one by one.

What really takes a long time is the resizing & adding my logo & signature, which I can only do on my home computer. I take all my pics @ 7m (11x17) so they are wayyy to big to post as is.

I recently returned from Arizona. It was my 1st time to AZ, so I was pretty excited & took pictures like a mad tourist. For some of you who haven't been to AZ, yet... you're missing a lot. Here are some of the various shots from around the state.

Hope you enjoy

The mall I was inspecting

A Korean Christian Church in Phoenix

1 of the many ways to get lost

More street scenes

Following in la Leezard theme...

where the quiet people are

...how can I resist...
"DON'T TAZE ME, BRO!"

Night time in AZ

The Cardinal Mothership

The only fitting way to end this 1st post of AZ by a true American hero.
Pat Tillman.
After 3 seasons @ Arizona and setting a franchise record with 200 tackles, he turned down NFL contract offers to become an Army Ranger because of the 9-11 attacks. Pat died as a result of friendly fire while on duty in Afghanistan on April 22, 2004. Regardless of any controversies surrounding him, one fact will never change: He gave up potential millions to serve his country.

Hope you enjoyed the pics.

More various Arizona picks

Enjoy...

Montezuma's Castle

A cool fake tree (radio tower?)

Spiny weeds

Fellow science geeks &/or Stephen Baldwin fans will recognize this place.

It is BIOSPHERE 2. I recently visited it on my trip to AZ.
Biosphere 2 is a 3.14-acre structure originally built to be an artificial closed ecological system. It was used to explore the complex web of interactions within life systems & also explored the possible use of closed biospheres in space colonization, and allowed the study and manipulation of a biosphere without harming Earth's. At a size comparable to two and a half football fields, it was the largest closed system ever created. The sealed nature of the structure allowed scientists to monitor the ever-changing chemistry of the air, water and soil contained within. The health of the human crew was continuously monitored by a medical team. yada yada On to the pics.

Hope you enjoy the pics.

My pep song for today is Kevin Rudolf's Let It Rock. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dh3gGQfyVyw smooch

Beautiful pictures! I really like the structure of those buildings. The song of the day was great too, nice collaboration with Lil' Wayne.

Thanks guys.

I know, Cristos. I keep going back to the Baltimore Aquarium just to hang out in their 3 story rainforest greenhouse of similar structure.

Kudos Dawn. I was wondering if anybody would get the Baldwin reference. Ha I kept accidently refering to it as Biodome while I was there. Ironicly, the only real dome houses the giant lung that breathes to prevent the building from exploding from pressure. You never get to see that part in the movie.

Nope, Slammy. I took 700+ pics @ biosphere alone. It was really a lucky trip. There normally isn't a Navaho down in the Antelope Canyons playing flute, I just happened to show up during the only wedding that's ever been performed in the canyon, so he was down there for that. When I was @ the Lowell Observatory, it had rained earlier in the day so nobody else was there except astronomers & staff. @ the crater, I just happened to be there when the guy was there taking promotional pics & video for a catalog. Gustaf makes unusual suits & drove all the way from L.A. to take the pics. & PS. That's not all the AZ pics. I've got a bunch more posts, worth. Just didn't want to overwhelm peeps computers all @ once.

When I 1st arrived @ the GC, it had been raining earlier in the day & it was so foggy that I couldn't see down & I couldn't see across. I was thinking "What a let down. So this is the GC, hunh? Color me impressed." The only thing that I could see was my tour guide. Here he was resting:

Later, the fog eventually burned off, but not completely as you can see. The day stayed cloudy, so I didn't get to see the bright colors so often associated w/ the GC. Oh well, here are some pics below. Sorry if some seem redundant.
Hope you enjoy:

Nah. I joined in March 07, but couldn't find anybody so I just laid off. I forgot I even had an account until Slammy told me he joined up. When I tried joining again, turned out I did.

Somebody posted this from Mile High Comics over @ the Collector's Society forum & it caused quite amusement. Thought I would transfer it here.
