A bunch. Much more than I had @ the time. I managed to spread it out. The ironic thing is it is far more intricate artwork then all the ones I lost out on that sold for well over 4 or 5 times as much.

Thanks. I'm pretty giddy about it. Finding a decent Pata has been a goal for years. They've always been $Ks out of my reach. I always said I didn't even care if I found someone to make one, I wouldn't care that it wasn't antique. Finding this still blows my mind. I need to take it to either the Walters or Higgins to confirm it's authenticity. Now I need to find a contact in India to try to get more. I got's to pay some compadres here on the forum some much deserved money & then start saving for my trip to the UK in the spring & then try to find an Urumi.

Hey Delvie, I think you like that video 'cause it starts out on top of a roof.
Today's rap leaves me feeling old. (Maybe since I am getting up in years,,, like in last week's Drabble, I'm closer to 70 than 20 now!)

The artist is Marat Mychaels who did Avengelyne/Shi 1/2 cover that was used for the repetitive foil releases.
He also did the 2 Demonslayer sketch covers that I have. I swear the Demonslayers & the 2 10th Muse sketch covers are so identical that it looks like copy paper was used & traced.

Yah. How ironic is it that the last line of Akon's chorus is "I am the streets" & he's on a roof the entire time & never once on the street.
I understand what you mean. I'd look pretty stupid sportin' a dookie chain w/ a midget sized medallion, myself. & I'd never be wearing lil wayne's top hat unless I was @ a costume party. I've some designs for some Shi/Crusade Hip/Hop wear, but I still would look better in D&G or Armani then I would in a pair of Ed Hardys. Also, if I paid attention to the words of the song, I probably wouldn't relate. When I'm w/out the mp3/4 player & the song bounces around my skull, there's a different set of lyrics. In my head, the chorus is:Don't care what nobody say - I'm gonna be me (be me) - Out here goin' insane in the streets (Cause I'm out here grindin') They talk craziness whenever they speak about me (Cause I'm out here grindin') I take nothin from nobody homie - I gotta give me me (Cause I'm out here grindin') Ain't slept in 8 days - I can go for 8 weeks - Ain't nothing to me cause I need no sleep! when the lyrics are actuallyI don't care what nobody say - I'm a be me (be me) - Stay hood, stay rasied in the streets (Cause I'm out here grindin') Niggas talk about greatness whenever they speak about me (Cause I'm out here grindin') I ain't splitting nothing with nobody homie - I gotta give me me (Cause I'm out here grindin') I ain't slept in 8 days - I can go for 8 weeks - Ain't nothing to me cause I am the streets Just a little bit different meaning, overall
My pep song for today (if anybody's interested) is Sixx A.M. (Nikki Sixx's band) - Life Is Beautifulhttp://www.youtube.com/v/kpU7jK4xGwc&hl=en&fs=1

I love Disturbia! I'm still stuck by her Shut Up & Drive
Hope everybody's doing well.
I'm back from Puerto Rico. I had a day off while I was there so I took a little walk about. I started @ Arecibo Observatory, & then went to Camuy Caves. I was shunned away because they don't allow my type in the caves - so I went to the coast to the Caujataca Shelves. On the way back I stopped by the Bat Juice Distillery & then took pictures @ the closed Fort @ the Island of Goats. I took about 837 pics while I was there & whittled them down to 554 of the best last night.
Hopefully, the next time I get to go back, I will have time to go to Vieques Island where the water glows @ night.
My pick me up song for today is a leap back in time to iio's Rapture.http://www.youtube.com/v/WbaWdyDipcw&hl=en&fs=1

Thanks. Yah... I spent the entire day trying to stay one step ahead of my black cloud. It doused me @ Arecibo after 30mins of dry time. It closed down the caves. It caught up to me in Gaujataca after 20mins. I just missed it @ Bat Juice Distillery by 5 mins. I'm not complaining, mind you, because my black cloud was instrumental in getting me the day off for sightseeing & provided some nice backdrop for some picks, rainbow included.I get to fly to work in AZ tomorrow. I'm pretty excited because AZ is one of the 2 states I have not been to, yet. I'm working a few days there & a few in Cali, so hopefully I will get to do some sightseeing. 1st on the list is the Meteor Crater. I'd like to see wave rock, but there's a lottery to see wave rock & they only allow 20 people a day to go see it. Chances are, I won't get the chance... especially since I think an application needs to be submitted in advance & I'll likely only have 1/2 a days knowledge that I'll have time or not. Anybody been to AZ? Any recommendations of places to visit? My obvious options are: Meteor Crater Grand Canyon Petrified Forest Monument Valley Tombstone Painted Desert I'm always open to other options, though. It could be something small that might only take 10 mins to see, if it's interesting, same diff. Besides... I may only get 20mins. LOL (that would suck)
My adrenaline song that I'm listening to today is Praga Kahn's Lonely Messed up video, but turn up the base & the volume & wait for the cops...http://www.youtube.com/v/vvPIaKZZwdI&hl=en&fs=1
