See... you've gotten so used to text messages from me, that you haven't noticed that you've had a pm in your messages from me all morning (per se).

I can't FRIGGIN believe I lost this morning's auction. I was there. I stayed up til 3 w/ just that purpose. Every single page I went to on ebay I had to resign in. I was seconds away from sniping. I had just signed in 10 seconds ago. Placed a new bid for a Shi painting. Hit the confirm bid button, & it wanted me to sign in again! I'll be right back. Must... carry... computer... to... swim... ming pool!! OH WAIT! Not my computer. Must... Carry... it back!  I'm not so upset that the painting isn't mine. I'm annoyed that I lost it for $10.50. I gotta send another sketchbook & some cash to kookey. I need another one of his sketches to cheer me up. We'll call it comfort food.
So glad I'm leaving this hotel tomorrow night. 4 days of windows encountering an error every ten minutes & shutting down has me ready to scream.

Delvie your story was so so sad.
(note to self: If I ever meet this guy never let him near anything eletronic,
he has one of those dark clouds above him)
missing out on that auction.
Well I thought this might cheer you up a bit.

She's pretty good. I love her Valentine Dragon.

Thanks for grabbing that. That's way cool.

Delvie,
I've been doing some covers (3), but with all the house work and family stuff have to take a break.  I'll finish your covers this week though.  I also have a bunch of blanks for any of you if you need it.  I was supposed to do another commission today (one of Scott's I think) but will have to hold that off till the week as well.
Sorry, but I will get them done!

Cool, B.

Honestly, I forgot which ones you were doing. Were you working on the Top Cow, Touch Of Death, Shi/Xfiles ones or were you working on this batch?
Needed Shi sketch cover list

Did you ever have your intern(?) sort out 100 blank white AOW?

Cool, either way.

As I sit here on the computer @ the same hotel for the 7th night in a row, I'm pondering how difficult it is for us to learn lessons from past faux pas'.
The computer room is right next to the doors to the bar. I've chosen to sit here every night & endure some of the WORST karaoke in the world. Hasn't try-outs episode of each American Idol season taught us that most of us should just drink & not sing?

I am kind of impressed, however, that the country songs are real hard to fubar.

I just heard a rendition of Zeppelin that probably cleared the hotel of any rodent problem they might have had.

This past weekend I had the same wonderful experience!  I know I had my brother and his fiancee laughing so hard they were falling out of their chairs with my snide remarks to all the karaoke singers!

speaking of karaoke singers.
I forgot to tell you guys about Mr. Tucci at the mic.
On Friday night at the MotorCityCon.
Billy did in fact get up and sing
My batteries died on my camera, right as he hit the stage.

WAS HE GOOD?

Well lets put it this way. I'm Glad he can draw.

Is that your subtle way of telling us you are in Florida, trying to hunt down an even bigger Hogzilla?

It's the year of the Pig!

Speaking of Hogzilla, I read this morning that the hog had been a farm animal up until four days before the hunt.

So, anyway... I got bored last week in the hotel so I went & bought some color pencils & started slaughtering some of my duplicate sketch covers. They're not duplicates anymore.
I just wish the scans turned out better.

This
turned into this:

This
turned into this:

& I don't have an original scan of this, but here's what this turned into:

(In retrospect, I should have erased some of Rich Woodall's circular pencil marks on his face. It would have looked better.)

I also have a Demonslayer Sketch Cover that I remixed, but there's no point uploading it because Photobucket will delete in 5 secs because nudity makes them curl up into the fetal position, rocking back & forth while grasping their crucifix.  nana

Sorry the scans didn't turn out so well.

This is a game my wife and I play whenever we are out in public, Schizophrenic of Blue Tooth. We also play is that you Daddy or you Father, since our town seems to draw people who are very far apart in age range (Some might say "Golddiggers", but really most 20 year olds have a lot in common with 50 year olds)

It's less moderated because there's no way to scan through the pictures by accident.  All their random URL generation stops that from happening.  So you should be able to upload there and have it stick around for quite some time... especially if you only post the pic in one or two places, which means they'd have to find it before they could moderate it.  wink

Does anybody here have indoor cats? Our neighbor's cat had kittens a couple of months ago & are giving away the mama cat & most of the kittens. Lickie started crying when she heard that the Snickers (mama cat) was going to be gone & to who knows what kind of home. Despite being allergic to cats, Lickie has grown attached to Snickers coming up to her while she is outside on her cig breaks & wanting to play. Thus, Lickie will now be taking allergy pills & we will become Snickers new home.

My question is, where is the most economical place to purchase one of those carpet covered tree/scratching posts w/ the relax boxes built up high? Thanks for any info.

Use to have a cat her name was Pez and she was a pretty tom cat that was a kitten under our porch, and my sister in law has 2  right now and I believe they built theirs, nothing elaborate but it worked their one cat as a kitten would to pull ups on the platforms.  But check Petco or any pet store!
