I'm in a relatively good mood because I have been working in Houston for a week & have had access to one of my fav radio stations - Meg 101.1.

So, anyway... I found these pics from the Sumiyoshi Rice-Planting Festival & had to share.

The phrase of the day is:
Nein Danke, lieber nicht! Ich bin allergisch gegen Eichhoernchen.
;D
The song of the hour is Don Omar's Angelito Vuela

& like this guy, I need sleep

GOOD NIGHT!
;)

I never quite got to sleep. I got stuck watching a bit of The Transporter 2 for an hour & tried to go to sleep after that. I just got to sleep @ 7am to hear my alarm go off @ 7:15am. There's always tonight.

Well Tj will be joining you on that Delvie!  He worked a 12 hour shift last night and now he is up with Dom, we have a weigh in at 3:30 and then he has unit meeting at 4 pm, so I know I will be taping Heros for him, there is no way he will stay up for that he will be to dead to.

But there is never rest for the wicked!   :P

My motto used to be "there's plenty of time for sleep when I'm dead." The past couple of years, however, I've noticed that I must be killing a lot more brain cells that way, because my short term memory fades in & out like an epileptic on crack & when I'm really tired... sometimes I sound like Ozzy. Today's not one of those days, however, but if you go outside & pick up a walnut & draw a smiley face on it.... that's about the extent of my usefullness @ work. Good thing my job has become robotic.

This week or weekend I am going to do a SHI crew map like I have for Pirates. Let me know what pic you think would be cool to use for the background. Also, if You're on myspace & not a friend & would like to be on the list, let me know.

OK! I need anybody's help. I am trying to find a song/video for a song I like, but searches on mp3.com, altavista, yahoo.com, & google.com, musicmatch keep crapping out.

It is "It's All About Me" by J'zabehl[/b]

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

No. Seriously. I kept getting web pages w/ different variations of the second link in which the videos don't work, thus my saying it kept crapping out. I never saw the Davetv link, though & it works. Thank you VERY MUCH. ;)

Most of the battle was finding out who it was. It took me 2 weeks. Then today, the biggest battle has been trying to figure out how it's spelled.
1st I was told it Jezebel
Then J'ezebel
Then J'ezabel
Finally J'zabel
Of course, that was all wrong & it's J'zabehl

Now, since I asked the question here, I've found them on myspace.... & I can download the song (or a version of it).

http://www.myspace.com/jzabehl
& from there is a link to their web page (which doesn't have the song, nor the video up yet)
http://www.jzabehlmusic.com/home.htm.

Ignore this.

I'm trying to combat the effects of years of sleep deprivation. Just needed some place to put it. Feel free to play if you like.

The accumulative effects of years of 3-4hrs a night 6 nights a week. Sometimes 2.5 hrs. I've noticed that my memory has been decreasing.

Hummmm...

    Retirement Planning:

If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it
would
    Now be worth $49.00.

With Enron, you would have had $16.50 left of the original
$1,000.00.

With World Com, you would have had less than $5.00 left.

With Lucent, you would have $3.50 left of the original $1000.00

But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of beer one year ago,
drank
all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling
REFUND you
    would have had $214.00.

Based on the above, the best current investment advice is to drink
    Heavily and recycle.

    It's called the 401-Keg Plan.

For me it was a 2 week stent in Maine on an implementation of a software system.  I had to be at work all 3 shifts for 2 weeks and got 2 1/2 hours sleep each day for 14 days.  I slept irratically for 1 month after that.

It's been an interesting day. Certainly windy as hell today!

Been on a Lenny Kravitz kick today.

Anyway, you've got to try this out.
