today is wonderful and able to go outside without a coat!! but now i probably just jinxed myself saying that it is so nice here that it will get nasty again. I just want spring or summer so I can be outside!!!

Had a 47 degree swing in high temps between yesterday & today. Expecting 5-9" of snow on ice. Winter is still here. Getting tired of it all.

I got a big F U from Lickie today when I said "I am leaving FL tomorrow." I guess she's getting weather in the teens while it was 80 for me yesterday. She's happier, though - knowing that I'm leaving. She always was generally cheered up knowing I was having a bad day.

Tj had that theory yesterday when he was at the dentist, he was making his next appt and saw that my file was inactive so they called me and to see if i could come in today....  they are just like machanics...they always find something |

Yup. Nope. Left Orlando Thursday @ 6:30pm & drove til 2am to be @ work in Lexington, SC @ 8am to meet a crew. Ironically, the crew went to the wrong job & I had to wait for them to arrive @ 10am. By the time they arrived, the storm had started outside & lasted the rest of the day so leaving Orlando on Thursday was nearly pointless. The only thing I could do on Friday was hunt down the Michelin plant manager & have him set up approval for us to come thru the gate this weekend. I've shown up to a Michelin plant before on a weekend & security couldn't allow us past the gate because nobody left approval. Of course, nobody of importance could ever be reached on a weekend, so that left us fubar'd.

Still not quite sure why president of operations thought it was so important for us to be here this weekend. They are supposed to call Michelin to let them know we were coming. Nobody had a clue we were coming, so it apparently wasn't all that big of a deal to Michelin. Oh well.
I thought about driving back down to Orlando after I got it all set up. But only briefly. The point that I would be driving 7hrs to be there for likely only an hour or 2 & then have to drive 7hrs back & be on the roof @ 8am Saturday morning quickly overcame any inclinations I had.
