Either the camera isnt bringing up the art as much. Or it looks like a few slightly quick sketches. Still look sweet. Just doesnt seem like the usual work i have been seeing. Also reminds me to frame some more art.

Another addition to the sketch cover family. Sorry about the poor quality pic. Scanner dead. Quick photo.

I don't know much about Marvel, but she has a couple of claws so maybe it's that X-23 character.
If it was Elektra, I would have to ask Delvie to get an Elektra sketch. Like this?

Interesting. Looks like someone's been in the cooking sherry.
Seriously though, I think you'd rather have an Electra that isn't a Skrull.

Nah. No Sherry. I cooked Alaskan Cod baked w/ a little "I can't Believe It's Not Butter" on it as well as Teriyaki sauce.
Oh, that's not mine. That's just the only Elektra Sketch Cover I remember seeing from Wolfe. Since this was on a Secret Invasion, it makes sense that it's a ElektSkrull. If I ever commission Wolfe to do something, I'm going to have him sketch another Shi. I feel that Slammy & I got gypped. My Wolfe Shi is probably the worst Wolfe sketch I've ever seen.

Here's 1 that's hard to come by for a low price. It's an Authentix Avenger's / Invaders limited edition. This one is now mine & was sketched by Howard Chaykin.
Unfortunately, I don't have the right contacts to get blanks.

Didn't catch that.
My comic supplier was suppose to have four guys from KC (B. Clay Moore, Dennis Hopeless, Kevin Mellon, & Alex Grecian) passing through on their way to Chicago for a show. So I bug out and make my way to their 1pm arrival at the store and they aren't sure that the guys are even going to come by now. Luckily they had a couple of St. Lou guys (Matt Kindt, Brian Hurtt)there to ease the pain a little. I've already made the aquaintence of both of them, so nothing new was obtained for my sketch book. Bummer.

yeah. I think 100 were printed & certain artists were sent 10 each. Although, I think Pablo Markus must have done @least 20. Other artists included Mel Rubi, John Romita Jr & Sr & John Lucas (not sure who else got them.)

Wow, that was amazing to watch. Reminds me of a story I heard. Pablo Picasso would get out on the Spanish beach and doe the most amazing drawings, knowing that they would be gone as soon as the tide came in.

I would never have imagined that a Swamp Thing sketch could've turned out so cool, but I'm impressed. This isn't mine. An acquaintance of mine named Bill Dinh did it for somebody else.

Thanks for the video, Delvie! It's very inspirational to see someone live in the moment. It's also amazing that he can make those designs without the aid of any technology. It must be really cool to have a vision and have an audience that enjoys looking at it as much as he enjoys making it.

Yeah, that is a pretty good Swamp Thing. The border kind of gets in the way, though.

That's pretty funny! My favorite MadTv sketch has always been Kenny Roger's Jackass. Here's a video you might like, it's a slow burner, but gets really good at the end. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vNc5o9TU0t0

ACK! "Can't really help the borger, though" I really should stop posting in the dark while watching tv. What the heck is a "borger"?
I was watching MadTV one time when they did a music video spoof of Slim Shady's "The Real Slim Shady" & the chorus was "would the real Slim Shady please shut up, please shut up." It was a riot. I was laughing so hard that tears were streaming & a friend almost choked because he was laughing so hard. Unfortunately, I can't find it on youtube or dailymotion.
Thanks for the Rodrigo & Gabriela I enjoyed it and a bunch more of their stuff. I posted it to facebook for more people to enjoy.
