Did the Illustrated Warrior TPB come out? I ordered it in previews months ago, and I think my comic shop shorted me a few items. ???

We only recieved about 500 orders for the book so we've got to use a new printer. They do really great work but specialize in low print runs and do not use Quark or Photoshop files as other printers do. I had to send all the files to another studio to convert all the files to PDFs for the new printer. We should have copies for the Baltimore Comic Con.

The Illustrated Warrior TPB should go out on Monday to Diamond. I'll let you know. There's an outside chance it can go tomorrow. It's now at the book binding stage.

We had so much trouble with the files and small press printers. Since we only got about 400 orders we had to stay away from the big printer and this caused all kinds of problems and starts and stops. The book is complete and shipped out to Diamond yesterday. It should be in stores next Wednesday.

I checked with my regular comic stop and was very disappointed to find that they didn't even bother ordering it. :( I was told their decision was due to the Shi books not selling well in general, so they didn't want to lose more money.

Yup. Unless it's a regular issue... all local stores in my area won't order it either. If you watch for my Crusade or Shi Solicitations each month, you can call the comic store & place the order. On the other hand, I got my Ju-Nen autographed Graphites through the comic store about 2-3 months after I got them via cons. That's why I order directly from Crusade, but even that is a gamble. The only way I for sure get Shi is to have someone pick up a copy @ the cons, it seems.
ps. there will be no solicitations posted for January as nobody is releasing anything Shi related.

That will go out with your books. You did a great, great job! Bahhh... *shuffles feet* Anyways, can't wait to see them. I've been dying of curiosity as to what they look and read like. I take it the CD went walkies? No biggie. It's called 'Tenchu', catalog number SRCL-4224, and is published by Sony. Here are the front and back covers:

How are you sending it? Via FedEx, like before? Or should I expect it by regular snailmail in January, assuming no dishonest postie steals the mail as some were doing last year? *grumblemutter >:(*
