I plan on seeing this movie soon.
I want to see if it follows the old radio program or not.

I think that this is one of those movies where I would rather remember the book than somebody else's reinvention of the book.  This is why I refuse to see "I Robot".

Well, majority rules in a democracy, so I ended up seeing War last night.  Pretty unimpressive, but that may have been because I was at a drive-in, some 50 yards or more from the screen.  Didn't care to see all the people getting vaporized.  At least Tom Cruise didn't end up with a gal at the end of the flick.

I saw it last night with my wife and I really enjoyed it. I like to put myself in the main characters spot so I can somewhat feel the emotions the actor is going through. Not only is he trying to survive himself, but he has to protect his children also. I really enjoyed the effects of the aliens making their grand appearance. Some pretty chaotic stuff.
I don't pay attention to reviews and just enjoy a movie for what it is. It seems there is enough negativity in the world for me to criticize other peoples' hard work in there effort to try to entertain me. Not everyone is going to like the same thing so making a movie is tough to make for all to enjoy.
Also, I got to enjoy a night out with my wife, which doesn't happen too often.

Just saw the movie this weekend.  My wife and I enjoyed it.   My daughter and her friend said it was the first sci-fi movie they ever enjoyed.

I needed Cruise and his dysfunctional family BS like a hole in the head. Some good 911 inspired moments but I'll take the original 52 Geo Pal original.
