Whatchu gonna do when the Frankster runs wild on u

« on: Sat, May 14, 2005, 13:48:45 »

As i sed in the other post that i prefered older shows and I'm sure a lot of other people do to so these are the shows that don't run anymore except for reruns.

The Three Stooges - Curly shorts only (i know they dont count as tv but u see them on tvso it counts to me)
Sanford & Son (no one funnier than Redd Foxx)
The Honeymooners
Seinfeld
Dukes of Hazzard
The A-Team
Son of the Beach
Salute Your Shorts
Undeclared
Shasta McNasty
Boy Meets World (well usta)

Cartoons
Cowboy Bebop
Hong Kong Phooey
Futurama
Undergrads
Celebrity Deathmatch
Spider-Man from the 80s (I actually liked the solo series that aired around amazing friends better) and MTV
Superfriends (the Legion of Doom eps and the ones with Firestorm)
Stripperella
Ren & Stimpy (the originals)
Rocko's Modern Life
X-Men: Evolution
Fantastic Four (60s and the 90's)
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Wacky Races
Trigun
Perrils of Penelope Pitstop (only cause they had a better anthill mob)

M*A*S*H can still stop the channel clicker.  I may have seen every show the first season it was out.  Still, if I come across the show, and recognize the episode, I will stop and watch it.  My wife and I love pulling out an old trivia game about the show (much like Trivial Pursuit cards) and testing each other with the questions.

Ooohh... I could probably have pages on this.

The most formative on me as a child growing up were BEAUTY & THE BEAST & KUNG FU. Vincent & Master Po were my heroes growing up & my personality was very much formed by them.

Other shows that I have DVD sets for or are on my list of "to get when I am caught up w/ payments on Shi art".

ROAR
WITCHBLADE
HIGHLANDER
COUPLING
KINDRED: THE EMBRACED
LA FEMME NAKITA
CROW: STAIRWAY TO HEAVEN
RED SHOE DIARIES
WAR PLANETS
(SHADOW RAIDERS for those outside the US)
FARSCAPE
JEREMIAH
MYTH AMERICA
HISTORIES MYSTERIES
CONNECTIONS
LEGENDS OF THE ISLES
DREAM LIVING
MONARCH OF THE GLEN
FAST LANE
MAGNUM PI
MIAMI VICE
NASH BRIDGES
SILK STALKINGS
GARGOYLES
RESURRECTION BLVD
GILLIGAN'S ISLAND
FRIENDS
ROAD RULES
(I like the challenges, not the drama)
CALIENTE (because I like dance music)

Any of you that get style channel (which, unfortunately, I don't any more) I've recorded all episodes of
MODEL
many eps of FASHION MAGAZINE

Lickie & I share ANGEL on our list.

Lickie has the
DARK ANGEL, BUFFY & BAB 5 DVDs (- season 1, she hates seas 1)

BIRDS OF PREY
MUTANT X
WITCHBLADE
LA FEMME NAKITA
COUPLING
KINDRED: THE EMBRACED
FARSCAPE
LEXX
DEEP SPACE 9
VOYAGER
ALIEN NATION
HIGHLANDER
EARTH FINAL CONFLICT
SPACE: ABOVE & BEYOND
SLIDERS
WEST WING
CSI

NOW. For the really CHEEZEY stuff
You might recall me mentioning several times that I am a fashion freak. My shame shows that I hate admitting to are:
V.I.P.
AMERICAS NEXT TOP MODEL
SHE Spies

That should about do it. Please, what are you going to do w/ those straight jackets?

& I saw your joke about News on DVD set, Jeff. Hilarious! Fox news would probably be considered comedy, I suppose. LOL

Both Lickie & I agree that we had a slight fascination w/ the old THUNDERCATS series.

I just bought all 49 eps of Heckle & Jeckle. Not sure why, but this thread has me reminiscing.

Joe, you're right... in light of Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Voyager, I forgot to mention the original. Awesome show.

Well if you thinks that's weird I'm probably the only guy who has season DVD collections of "Son of the Beach" (well hey i thought it was hysterical and the girls were hot) and that cartoon that dint last Undergrads.

So Many great shows get overlooked and cancelled it's not even funny. Thank God for DVD collections.

The Wonder Years

You ever read my treatment for Six Million Dollar Man? It's freakin' brilliant, and I never say that about my own work. Except everyone loves it.

I didn't know you liked Wonder Years. You've been holding out on me! The modern version would be Winnie Cooper in a Mini Cooper.

Ted Cassiday, Lurch on the Addams Family, was Bigfoot.

Andre was Bigfoot in 6M$ Man 1st
Andre wasn't able to film for The Return of Bigfoot so Ted Cassidy filled in.

s'ok. I'm a bit sleep deprived myself.

No you don't look like Grizzly Adams. I guess I remember Adams as this big, hulking man. You fit the bill.
