While ER has dropped down my list a bit, I'm still watching...

1. 24
2. Battlestar Galactica
3. Monk
4. Stargate SG-1
5. The Shield
6. ER
7. Stargate Atlantis
8. Rescue Me

I haven't liked that many shows at one time in, oh, a decade at least.

To make up for this, I'm no longer watching the news. Instead, I'm waiting for the boxed set DVD.

Okay, I'm one of those people that love Survivor.
Also, I get sucked into Desperate Housewives.
Then there is/was Joan of Arcadia (hope it makes it to another season, things were just starting to get REAL interesting.
A lot of my past favorites have jumped the shark lately as I feel that my time is too valuable to spend it in front of dribble.

Oh yeah, Desperate Housewives & Tru Calling are on the list of likes but don't watch because they are in reruns.

I like Joan of Arcadia, but I don't like the whole "Tru Calling antagonist twist @ the end of the same season that Tru Calling started it" thing. Just a little too tacky. They're suddenly turning into nearly identical plots.

I like Who's, but I never really watch it. Is it possible that you've recorded it?
There are two shows that I like bits & pieces of. If there was a way to have somebody transfer all the Irish song parts of WHO'S & all the spoof music videos of MAD TV to tape or even better, disc, I'd be interested in owning it. I just can't bring myself to watch MAD TV just for the occasional music video spoof & never am around when WHO'S is on, but I LOVE the Irish songs that they always come up w/! MAD TV did a spoof of Eminem's "Please Stand Up" video called "Please Shut Up" that was a frickin riot!

Also, when a good comedian show comes on, I am usually watching (if not recording it)
Comedians I DO NOT miss are Robbin Williams, George Carlin, Bill Maher, & Jeff Dunham when he has his Peanut & Jose'

I'd love to see an unedited or adult take of Who's Line.  It seems that the censors were a bit tough on the show.  I remember one time that they tried to make fun of Hitler, but the censor stepped in and tried to cut it off.  Then he allowed them to do something that put Native Americans on the spot.  At least the whole incident made it to the regular show.

That one was way up there in the ozone.  It had a weird kind of funny to it, but that seems to be true anytime I see Richard Simmons.  Wayne Brady was excellent on this episode!

Well it seems I found the answer to the status of the NBC sitcom "Committed" which premiered earlier this year apparently has been cancelled. >:(

Another great show gets overlooked and cancelled.

Too many to name but sometimes people dont know good tv when they see it.

Well now I'm hopin for a DVD release at least.

Frankster,
I see you like King of the Hill, I am very glad, because my wife does several voices on the show. She is Nancy Gribble, Reverend Stroup and Didi Hill, (Cotton's wife).

Unfortunately, like Committed, it looks as though the show is being canceled as well. Fox only asked for a handful to be written and recorded. They say they want to make room for another "reality show".

this season will see about the fate of the show. They always have strong and consistant ratings, but that doesn't seem good enough for them.

The good news is that the biggest roadblock for KOTH was Gail Berman, who has left the network for Paramount. So, with luck and ratings, hopefully it will continue.

My favorite shows right now are:

Reno 911!
Little Britain (BBC America)
Sponge Bob
Jon Stewart

I don't watch KOTH very often, more out of curiousity. Congrats to your wife. Atleast the show had a fairly decent run. Good luck to her in her future projects.

Well this is an absolute outrage!!!!  1st off that was such a popular long running show this is know way to end it like that. It at least deserves a final farewell episode. I've been wathcing King of the Hill almost everyday since it came to FX. But flerk that's cool your wife does the voice of one of the main characters plus a few other I wish her luck as well.  But if you want my two cents this show would never be in the position if new episdoes weren't shown in their entirety due to to overtime in the damn football games especially the unnessesary Post Game talk. Well so far it never interfierred with the simpsons thank goodness but this is one reason why i hate football. they should cancel malcolm in th emiddle instead i mean that show had it's good run but the kid's are too old now and it's tasteless.

Well this is sad the King of the Hill would have to end this way.... unfinished (like they did with Married with Children).
Well my all time favorite eps of King of the Hill is the 2 part Japan episodes and i also like where hank is accused of being a pimp.

Fox you already took away Undeclared, The Critic, and Life on a Stick and now King of the Hill.
.....Oh & Let's not forget WWF Superstars and Wrestling Challenge due to the NFL. (sorry i hate football and hockey)
I like baseball and i lost all respect for basketball when the Knicks traded Oakley.
I wish Fox would get their acts together.

You made some very valid and accurate points Frankster.

The show has been pre-empted continually because of football, which is a reason they only had a handful of episodes recorded this season, they are just going to air the ones that were bumped over the course of it's life. They also screwed the show early on by moving its time slot around. Even though this happened, its audience still found it and have kept up its ratings.
Probably the biggest problem has been that the show, Malcolm in the Middle, (which I do like) has done poorer against KOTH. And that has been bad, because the former president of FOX TV (Gail Berman) owns a piece of Malcolm and resented KOTH for it doing better. She has recently left the network for Paramount, so maybe that will be a good thing for KOTH, one of the most well written shows on television.

BTW, I posted an article from the NY Times about King of the Hill on another thread.
It is about how some politicians are now using Hank Hill as a model for political outreach. re: (how would Hank react to this proposed legislation?)
It is a very good article.
