Superstar artist George Pérez makes his return to the Baltimore Comic-Con as the convention celebrates the 25th anniversary of New Teen Titans #1 and the 20th anniversary of Crisis On Infinite Earths.

Over the course of his career, Pérez has illustrated two fan-favorite stints on The Avengers, and the high-profile inter-company crossover JLA/Avengers. In addition to many other assignments, he also wrote and illustrated Wonder Woman. He is presently at work on several projects for DC Comics including a Donna Troy mini-series and a New Teen Titans graphic novel.

"It's difficult to express how much having George Pérez return as a guest means to the Baltimore Comic-Con," said show promoter Marc Nathan. "He's enormously popular with at least two generations of fans, he's a tireless fundraiser for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund, and he's a wonderful person. How much better could a guest be?"

The show is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM each day, at the Baltimore Convention Center. More information can be found at http://www.comicon.com/baltimore. You can also call (410) 526-7410 or email cardscomicscollectibles@yahoo.com for details.

"We're extremely pleased to announce that Marv Wolfman will be joining us a guest of this year's Baltimore Comic-Con," said Marc Nathan, the show's promoter. "Now it's definitely a celebration of New Teen Titans and Crisis on Infinite Earths."
Last week it was announced that Wolfman's partner on those projects, George Pérez, would be making a return to the September 17-18, 2005 show. This will be Wolfman's first appearance at the con.

The longtime writer of Tomb of Dracula, creator of Blade, writer of New Teen Titans and Crisis, and former Marvel Comics Editor-in-Chief has remained popular with fans throughout his career. He'll join Pérez at the show marking the 25th anniversary of Titans and the 20th anniversary of Crisis.

"Marv has been one of our most requested guests the past few years," Nathan said. "We're all looking forward to having him at the show."

The Baltimore Comic-Con is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, 10 AM to 6 PM each day, at the Baltimore Convention Center. More information can be found at http://www.comicon.com/baltimore. You can also call (410) 526-7410 or email cardscomicscollectibles@yahoo.com for details.

Following a great reception by fans at last year's Baltimore Comic-Con, acclaimed writer-artist Don Rosa will be the guest of Gemstone Publishing's Disney comics line at this year's show, September 17-18, 2005.

"Don was a big hit with the fans at last year's Baltimore Comic-Con, and this year he'll be able to sign attendees' copies of The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck, which comes out this June," said John Clark, Gemstone's Editor-in-Chief /Disney Comics.

"We're extremely happy to have both Don Rosa and Gemstone Publishing back at this year's Baltimore Comic-Con," said show promoter Marc Nathan. "Getting kids to read comics is a large part of our focus and Don's phenomenal work appeals to kids of all ages."

Thanks.  I really like getting on-line and seeing what everyone else is thinking on this board.  It is refreshing to see the intelligence and sense of humor that some people who post have.  Thanks to all for getting me to write!

While still relatively new on the comics scene, the Luna Brothers also were high on the Baltimore show's list.

"In a relatively short while, the Luna Brothers have made a reputation for themselves with great storytelling," Nathan said. "Whether people know them from Ultra or their new hit, Girls, we're glad to have them aboard."

The show previously announced Phil Jimenez, Frank Cho, Mark Waid, J.G. Jones, Ron Garney, Howard Chaykin, Marv Wolfman, George Pérez, Geoff Johns, Neil Vokes, Todd DeZago Mike Kaluta, Scott Kurtz, Robert Kirkman, Joseph Michael Linsner, Brandon Peterson, Howard Porter, Mike Wieringo, Andy Smith, Brian Stelfreeze, Karl Story, Cully Hamner, Dean Haspiel, John Gallagher, Steve Conley, Rich Faber and others.

Gemstone Publishing is sponsoring Don Rosa, writer-artist of The Life & Times of Scrooge McDuck.

The Baltimore Comic-Con's hours are 10 AM to 6 PM each day. More information can be found at http://www.comicon.com/baltimore. You can also call (410) 526-7410 or email cardscomicscollectibles@yahoo.com for details.
