Rourke stole the show in my opinion.

Notice the irony -- Mickey Rourke killing Cardinal Rourke?

I also noticed that Frank Miller played a priest in the movie - that was a stretch.

That's pretty funny.

We should make a list -
Frank Miller as a priest.
Mickey Rourke killing Cardinal Rourke.
Jessica Alba as a stripper who doesn't strip (it worked fine, by the way; it's just humorous)

Just saw the movie for a second time.
I think B. Murphy did a great job which wasn't seen when looking at all the other cool characters.
I still think J. Alba was significantly underexposed in this movie - in more ways than one.

Love it or hate it, it's the most faithful comic book movie ever.

Just a quick question that has Sin City tie-in.  Has anyone out there seen FHM with the Frank Miller cover?  My local store has only the Brittany Murphy cover, and I would like to get the Miller drawing cover.  Thanks.

From Scoop:
http://scoop.diamondgalleries.com/scoop_article.asp?ai=8681&si=128

Sin City: A Dame To Kill For is apparently going to be the sequel to the Robert Rodriguez - Frank Miller film Sin City, which was based on three of Miller's Sin City graphic novels. While not one of the tales incorporated into the Dimension Films hit, the story in A Dame To Kill For does overlap and lead into events in the first movie, leaving room for Mickey Rourke to make another appearance as Marv, despite the character's demise.

Made for an estimated $40 million, Sin City brought in more the $73 million in domestic box office receipts alone, according to BoxOfficeMojo.com. The DVD will reportedly be released August 19, 2005.

From ICv2.com
http://www.icv2.com/articles/home/6951.html

May 27, 2005
Variety is reporting the schedule of films from The Weinstein Company, the new entity created by Bob and Harvey Weinstein after they left Miramax/Disney and it includes Sin City 2, which is slated for the summer of 2006. Robert Rodriguez and Frank Miller are collaborating on the Sin City sequel, which will be based on A Dame to Kill For (see "Sin City Sequel Set").

Among the other films announced was Grind House, which will include two 60-minute exploitation horror films, one directed by Quentin Tarantino and one by Robert Rodriguez with pseudo trailers and shorts in between the two films.
