Have you seen it? It was AWESOME. I can't wait until the special edition DVD comes out so I can see all the deleted scenes added back into the movie. Lickie is a LOTR FREAK. Merchandising for these movies & the Harry Potter movies is cleaning up w/ her. I should take out stock!

I was home in Texas for Christmas and saw TWO TOWERS with a group of my friends. It was a great experience. Although I generally would pick watching a movie at home, there's nothing to beat a true epic on the big screen!

This one should make quite the DVD experience, too.

If you don't have the special extended edition DVD for the 1st movie, I highly recommend it. it has over 45 mins of deleted scenes added back into the movie. Not in a seperate menu like other movie dvds, but actually incorporated back into the movie. It makes the movie over 4 hrs long, but it is on two discs, so you can take a break (surely, not for that purpose, but certainly handy). I hope other prodction companies follow suit & start adding the extra or deleted scenes back into the movies for dvd.

Tell me about it. I can't wait til these are released on IMAX. Talk about sensory overload. I got to see Spiderman on IMAX while driving thru Buffalo. Completely different experience. Laters. Happy New Year.

Personally, though visually striking, I found the first movie a little long and well. boring. :-X

But I am looking forward to Two Towers.  Just have to find a way to sneak out of the house!  I will be in North Carolina next week while Deborah attends an industry trade show.  Perhaps I can sneak the boy in for a matinee.  I'll have to bring plenty of formula and sit waaaay in the back!
