Very cool. I have pic of that one in my sketchbook folder. Did you get that from Giovanni?
I have one that is #224/499 & one number free. I don't know if the number light one means I'm special or perhaps very UNspecial. LOL I want to get another one.

Thanks Delvie, I'm glad you like it and yes I bought it from Giovanni. They are a great seller although a bit steep in price when it comes to these sketchbooks. What do these run for at cons ??? Here's another to gander at: I got this one "Dirt Cheap" on eBay!

I remember getting those for you. They are $20 at conventions and normally should go for $25 or higher on EBAY. If you got it lower than $20 you got a great deal.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to attend cons so I can't afford to many of these sketchbooks. :'( With that being said here is my only other sketchbook. Not bad considering I had pre-ordered it through TFAW.com and had no idea what to expect.

SWEET! I like the butterfly under Tomoe's eye. I had pics of both of the Shi in my folder but they were all 240xwhatever. I hope you don't mind me replacing them w/ the large versions.
Unfortunately, I've managed to only make it to one con in the past 3 yrs & that was by accident (Billy wasn't there). Luckily I have a network of buddies here @ the forum that I can trust to send money to & pick me up some stuff. Good thing, too, because not including the 3 I talked about, I still need to get 10 other tourbooks w/ sketches to complete my base Shi collection.

I'm happy that you enjoy that one as well,Delvie. As far as the larger images feel free to do what you please with them.My Sister's current boyfriend is a comic's fan and we are discussing a future con trip. That's assuming that he doesn't get the boot :-/ I'm not sure about the identity of the character in the last sketchbook, Tomoe doesn't have Green eyes too does she? Maybe it's Ana in disguise :o

I tried to lighten it up & when I did, it took some of the color away. But peeps will get the general point.

Really nice Delvie. A couple of questions. How did the shi and H&E get on the matte? and Was the color comic page torn out of the book and placed behind the matte?

I'm glad you guys liked the way I had this framed.I really can't take all the credit for it though because I had a local frame shop do this for me.To answer your questions on the comic page and Heaven and Earth logo it was really simple. When it came to the page I simply scanned it, printed it up and cropped it leaving it the same size as the original page in the comic book. With the logos I searched through my collection of Shi comics and chose the ones to my liking scanned and resized as before and let the Frame shop cut them out and use some type of adhesive to glue the logos to the matte.I think this is the first Original comic page that they had framed so they put a lot of effort into it.My main concern was the trimming around the Shi logo, which to my surprise they did an amazing job! Oh, I almost forgot, yes the Shi page was placed behind the matte, Joe.

Okay, I Do Not own this piece just wasn't sure where to put this.It is very nice but out of my price range.I saw it on eBay while sifting through a store. Unfortunately, it starts at $39.99 with a Buy it Now option of $49.99.Since I'm having two pieces of art this framed this week, I can't afford it.

I met the woman who played AAYLA at a convention once in Cleveland. She was blonde and very pretty, but too skinny.
