Taking a breather from the goodies -- actually its Korngold at the piano audio only but not only for "RH" but some of his other masterworks for the Brothers Warner like Sea Hawk, Capt Blood and Kings Row.

Some great Warners of 38 outtakes and  Cruise of the Zacca (Flynns yacht) and yes...something more after they closed the door...

"May I enjoy more films with equal pleasure, sire!"

Few films are ever perfect in every way-- this is one.

One of my ALL TIME favorites1  Gotta get it and the "Last Samurai" CD today!  Maybe, I'll wait and ask it for Christmas...

Damn don't want to wait, but don't want to get in trouble.

Isn't "Last Samurai" just coming to theaters? Or are you refering to the Promotional DVDs that go out to Academy judges?

This brings up another question that has been bugging me.
If no one has the extended versions of LOTR & TTowers you are missing out on an awesome set of DVDs. Finally, Peter Jackson has done what I've been bitching about for years. Instead of DVDs having extra scenes on a seperate menu or even disc, why don't pruducing companies put the cut scenes BACK IN the movie. Peter has now done this. Will the rest of the industry catch on & catch up or will they continue to give us half assed product?

Who did the score for "last samurai" anyway?

Definitely not Sato Masaru>
