Purchased a non-subtitled version of Yimou Zhang's "Ying xiong" starring Jet Li.  It has to be the most beautiful and brilliantly filmed motion picture I've ever seen!  It won this year's Acedemy Award for best foreign film.  Since I can't speak Mandarin it was a bit difficult to follow but so inspirational that I'd award it the bloody Oscar on visuals alone.  Also starring the very beautiful Maggie Cheung and Ziyi Zhang.  But I was truly moved by Tony Leung Chiu Wai  who tragically plays Broken Sword (thanks IMDB for helping me out with Tony and his characters name).  I will be watching this film a lot as I draw and will try and hunt down Mr. Zhang to direct Shi and the God-like talent of Christopher Doyle to DP.  

Man oh Man!  I'm going to go and watch it again.
