This book is quite the anomaly.  It's a Platinum Age collection of newspaper strips.  That makes it very much the same thing as the collections of Mutt & Jeff, Katzenjammer Kids, or Little Orphan Annie from that same time period.  
And while nowhere near as popular or well known, I feel that it's small geographic release should put these books in the approximate same price range.
You simply cannot FIND this book anywhere but Texas!
