Hey BILLY!
I know you like planes.
And I know you liked the old "Lost Worlds" battle books...
Al Leonardi also produced a similar product called "Ace of Aces".  They were battle books of PLANES.  And they rocked!
Did you ever try those?

Well, NOW...  WizKids (the company that does MAGE KNIGHTTM, HEROCLIXTM, and the soon to be released INDY CLIXTM starring SHI) has released a squadron level dog-fight combat miniatures based 'Clix' game.
Have you seen that?  Looks fun.

And since they are doing licensed stuff in their other lines....
I was wondering if you may want to approach them about a licensed "some trouble of a seRRious nature" set?
Could be fun!

They're called Crimson Skies right?  And aren't based on real planes correct?  I've been working with them to create the "Crimson Skies" comic books.

Yes I do love "Ace of Aces" and think it'd make a great Gremlin book but am tired of losing all my money on those damn games.

yeah...I understand.
I worked at Chessex Manufacturing.  I think we wrote the book on 'How to lose money making games'!  ;D
I tried hard to make those Lost Worlds books work again.
You should have see the look on Al Leonardi's face when I told him I had decoded the books and knew that they were all based on Hex-grid movement.  He was FLOORED!   He thought that was his little secret!
He basicaly took a 3-dimensional mini-based combat system and turned it inside out to make the book based system withOUT the need for minis.
Pretty damn clever, I think.
Al never seemed to get the credit he deserved for being damned smart.
He also created the original "Axis & Allies" boardgame.
Did you know THAT?
