Id rather take a peek at the Al Williamson strip ballyhooed on that cover of "Cliff Hanger"
Ah, well then, it's JCV to the rescue, Robiesan!

From Scoop last week (in this case, written by yours truly):
http://scoop.diamondgalleries.com/news_images/3239_8828_1.jpgFew comic book artists have the legacy of Al Williamson. Respected both as a penciler and as an inker, and known by at least three distinctly different generations of comic book fans, the youngest member of the original EC team is keenly deserving of having his wonderful work on adventure-oriented strips collected, and this book definitely fills the bill. Featuring this modern master's work with writers Harlan Ellison, Archie Goodwin, Bruce Jones, Mark Schultz and Mark Wheatley, this book is a veritable symposium on what an action-adventure comic is supposed to look like. One of the really inventive turns Al Williamson Adventures takes is editor/designer Wheatley's inspired placement of the movie serial-styled "Cliff Hanger" -- stories, using them to separate the other features in the book. This series, which ran as a back-up in Somerset Holmes in the early '80s, is a nearly-forgotten Williamson classic. A signed, limited edition of the book is also available for $54.95.

If you like Williamson, this book is the proverbial MUST HAVE item.
I did a bit of the rights & permissions work on it. :o But I would have definitely bought it otherwise.
