Have any of you read or heard Beau Smith and Mitch Byrd's brilliant "Rotten Little War" story?  It would make a terrific comic and bette movie.  I'd love to get my hands on it to pitch.

Tagline (of sorts):
A small group of vacationers are shipwrecked on a deserted island where former Allied and Axis soldiers are still warring.  Thing is, the island is cursed and the warriors have been turned into Zombies!  By day they fight, by night they repair themselves using whose ever body parts are around.

Great Fun!  I'll ask Beau to post it.

Billy, is that zombie war story you were talking about? Sounds like something from the good old days of Star Spangled War Stories only instead of dinosaurs!

Don't you just love the slow down, handy cam stuff? :D

Mind you... I'm probably more exicted about Hellboy! Shit yeah! ;D

Rich, yes that is the project, and I might have posted about it earlier.  I just think it's awesome!

Sounds great - Im working on something similar but a whole different approach-- more like John Ford's "The Lost Patrol" meets the undead but set in the near future.  A no-budget super spectacular.  Heck, they'll even use ray guns so we dont have to pay a props house for guns & blanks!

Cant wait to see theirs tho - kinda reminds me a little of "The Keep".  Keep us posted!
